Former UFC champion Cris Cyborg was clearly watching tonight’s UFC Fight Island 4 main event between Holly Holm and Irene Aldana. The UFC’s former women’s bantamweight champion, Holm (13-5 MMA), had entered tonight’s contest looking to build off the momentum from her unanimous decision victory over Raquel Pennington back in January. Prior to defeating ‘Rocky’ in Las Vegas, ‘The Preachers Daughter’ was coming off a knockout loss to reigning women’s champ-champ Amanda Nunes at UFC 239.
Julianna Pena reacts following submission loss to Germaine de Randamie at UFC Fight Island 4

Julianna Pena was hoping to solidify herself as a top bantamweight contender by scoring a win over Germaine de Randamie this evening at UFC Fight Island 4. Pena (9-4 MMA) was returning to action for the first time in over a year at tonight’s UFC Fight Island 4 event. In her most recent effort in July of 2019, Pena scored a unanimous decision victory over Nicco Montano.

A welterweight scrap between veteran fighters Carlos Condit and Court McGee served as the featured bout of tonight’s UFC Fight Island 4 prelims. The UFC’s former interim welterweight champion, Condit (31-13 MMA), had entered tonight’s fight with McGee in hopes of snapping a five-fight losing skid. ‘The Natural Born Killers’ had not scored a win since defeating Thiago Alves way back in May of 2015.
