The Stockton native trashed the Brazilian saying it is a terrible title fight so now Burns is looking to grapple Diaz in the very near future.

Two huge fights have been announced as the UFC return of heavyweight Alistair Overeem and middleweight Kelvin Gastelum are now official. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto broke both fight announcements on Thursday. On February 6, Overeem will take on Alexander Volkov in a five-round heavyweight fight that headlines a UFC Fight Night card. And on January 30, Gastelum makes his return to the Octagon when he takes on Ian Heinisch. There is no location set for either event as of yet.

Condit and Brown were previously scheduled to fight twice but Brown was forced to withdraw both times with injuries. The first time these two were scheduled to fight was way back in December 2013 at UFC on FOX 9, and the second time was at UFC on FOX 29 in April 2018. The UFC will hope that the third time is the charm for these two.
