Henry Cejudo has taken a shot a UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan. Volkanovski and Yan have both trained extensively at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand in the past, and have sparred together during their time at the gym. Footage of one of their sparring sessions recently started making the rounds on social media, where it eventually caught the eye of Cejudo.
Chael Sonnen says Mike Tyson will use PEDs in Roy Jones Jr. fight

MMA analyst Chael Sonnen believes boxing legend Mike Tyson will use performance-enhancing drugs in his upcoming fight with Roy Jones Jr. Tyson, 54, will return to the ring for a special exhibition fight with Jones, 51, on November 28. Ahead of the fight, Tyson came clean about previously using baby urine to pass drug tests, and Sonnen believes the legend is probably still using performance-enhancers today.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 14, Rafael dos Anjos was making his return to the lightweight division to take on Paul Felder who took the fight on short notice. Entering the fight, both men were looking to get back into the win column and get a top-five opponent next time out. Yet, it was dos Anjos who used his grappling to dominate the fight and win a clear decision, although one judge somehow had it scored for Felder.

UFC lightweight Yancy Medeiros has a recent run-in with a USADA inspector at his home that ruined his plans of an intimate evening. Medeiros has been a member of the UFC roster since 2013, going 6-7, 1 NC over 14 fights in the promotion with wins over the likes of Alex Oliveira, Erick Silva, and John Makdessi. He hasn’t fought since a decision loss to Lando Vannata at a UFC Fight Night event in February of this year, and overall he has lost three straight fights. Despite the losing skid, he remains on the UFC roster and he continues to be tested by USADA.

The opening betting odds have been released for the upcoming UFC Vegas 16 middleweight main event between Jack Hermansson and Kevin Holland. Hermansson was originally tabbed to fight Darren Till but the fight was scratched after Till got injured. Fortunately, Holland was able to step up and take the fight on short notice. It’s incredibly the fifth fight for Holland since May 2020, when the UFC re-started after a two-month hiatus due to COVID-19. As for Hermansson, he will look to build on a submission win over Kelvin Gastelum in his last outing on Fight Island in July.

UFC lightweight star Tony Ferguson accused rival Conor McGregor of not having the balls to fight a top contender in the 155lbs division. McGregor is set to take on Dustin Poirier at UFC 257, but there are some issues right now in making that fight official. According to UFC president Dana White, Poirier has signed the deal on the dotted line. But the UFC is still waiting on McGregor to sign his bout agreement, although White said that he’s confident he will do so. Still, the fact that this fight hasn’t been signed on the dotted line is making some people wonder what’s up.

UFC lightweight Rafael dos Anjos released a statement following his “roller coaster” split decision win over Paul Felder at UFC Vegas 14. RDA was originally set to fight Islam Makhachev at UFC 254 on Fight Island but he was forced off the card due to COVID-19. The UFC then re-booked the fight for two weeks later at UFC Vegas 14. Unfortunately, the fight fell apart when Makhachev pulled out due to an infection. Fortunately, the UFC called upon Paul Felder to save the day. The No. 7 ranked lightweight/UFC color commentator stepped up to the plate on just five days’ notice, stepping in there with dos Anjos after having had no real training camp for it.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor explained why he is looking at 2020 as an opportunistic year despite some frustrating experiences. McGregor said before the year that he wanted to have a full season in 2020. That would begin with a fight against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January — which McGregor won in 40 seconds by TKO — and then move on to a lightweight title bout. A welterweight fight against a star in that division was also mentioned. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, McGregor fought just once this year despite being healthy himself.

UFC lightweight contender Rafael dos Anjos explained why he felt he struggled in his split decision win over Paul Felder at UFC Vegas 14. RDA made his return to the lightweight division, a weight class where he was previously a champion, after losing four of his last five fights at welterweight to bigger fighters. In his return to the weight class he used to be the king of, RDA took on Felder in the main event of UFC Vegas 14, and he took home a split decision at the end of 25 minutes. Most felt that he should have won unanimously, but regardless of the scores, a win is a win.

When the judges scored Rafael dos Anjos vs. Paul Felder at UFC Vegas 14 as a split decision, it was a shocker for almost everyone watching. The main event of UFC Vegas 14 was a competitive, yet clear decision for dos Anjos. BJPenn.com scored the fight 49-46 in favor of dos Anjos, giving him the first three rounds and the fifth round and giving Felder the fourth round. Most of the media at MMADecisions.com scored the fighter either 50-45 or 49-46 for dos Anjos.

Michael Bisping pegged Georges St-Pierre as the one fight he would “do over,” while also claiming that he would have retired had he won. Bisping and GSP met back at UFC 217 in November 2017. At the time, Bisping was the UFC middleweight champion and was coming off of back-to-back wins over Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson in title fights. GSP, meanwhile, was coming back after a four-year layoff as he moved up to 185lbs for the first time during his UFC career.

UFC middleweight Eryk Anders has issued a statement after pulling out of his UFC Vegas 14 fight against Antonio Arroyo due to health issues. Anders vs. Arroyo was set to take place on Saturday night at UFC Vegas 14, but Anders missed weight on Friday, and on Saturday morning, he was out of the fight. After being forced out of the contest, the middleweight took to his Instagram to release a statement to his fans. Check out below what he wrote on his social media.

UFC lightweight Islam Makhachev reacted to Rafael dos Anjos’ win over Paul Felder, by saying “Let’s finish our business in nearest future.” Makhachev was set to take on dos Anjos at UFC 254 in October, but RDA was forced to withdraw from the bout due to testing positive for COVID-19. The UFC then booked Makhachev and RDA in their own headliner on the UFC Vegas 14 card two weeks later, but Makhachev was forced out of the fight due to health issues. In turn, Paul Felder stepped in on five days’ notice and saved the card. The rest, as they say, is history.
