Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has taken aim at Justin Gaethje for his comments prior to his loss to Charles Oliveira. ‘The Highlight’ and ‘Do Bronx’ squared off in the main event of UFC 274 last Saturday. Prior to the bout, Gaethje took aim at his foe, saying that he quit in previous fights. While he acknowledged that Oliveira has improved, he believed he would make him quit again.

UFC lightweight Charles Oliveira has revealed his plans for the rest of the year. ‘Do Bronx’ is fresh off his headlining role against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. The bout was supposed to be Oliveira’s second title defense, but he was stripped of his title after missing weight. He wound up winning the bout via first-round submission.
Joe Lauzon vs. Donald Cerrone re-booked for June 18th UFC Fight Night

UFC lightweights Joe Lauzon and Donald Cerrone will hopefully square off after all. The two bonus kings have been scheduled to clash on a UFC Fight Night next month. This is the second time that the two men have been booked. Lauzon and Cerrone were previously scheduled to square off at UFC 274 last Saturday. Hours before the fight, the bout was canceled due to Cowboy having food poisoning.
Brandon Royval wants to be the backup for the interim flyweight title fight after UFC 274 submission win over Matt Schnell

Royval is coming off a first-round submission at UFC 274 over Matt Schnell, which was his second in a row. Prior to the fight, Brandon said he wanted the bout to be wild and chaotic, but he admits it was crazier than he expected.

Maycee Barber always wanted to fight Jessica Eye and she now gets her wish. After Barber defeated Montana De La Rosa, ‘The Future’ was offered a fight with ‘Evil Eye’ at UFC 276. Jessica had just lost her slated opponent Casey O’Neill, who was forced to pull out of the contest due to a torn ACL. Once the fight with Eye became official, Barber got right back into training camp.

Nate Diaz is doubling down, sending a message to the UFC, indicating he wants a fight with Michael Chandler now. It was Michael Chandler (23-7 MMA) who defeated Tony Ferguson (26-7 MMA) in a lightweight match-up last Saturday at UFC 274. Chandler stunned the crowd at the Footprint Center in Phoenix by blasting Ferguson with a terrifying front kick to the face which left him unconscious just 17 seconds into the second round.

Conor McGregor is responding after Charles Oliveira insinuated he could finish both him and Nate Diaz in the same night. It was at UFC 274 this past Saturday night that we saw Charles Oliveira (33-8 MMA) take a huge leap forward in his UFC run after defeating Justin Gaethje (23-4 MMA) in the main event. It should be noted that Oliveira was stripped of his lightweight world title after missing weight ahead of his fight with Gaethje, leaving the lightweight title vacant.
UFC 277 to host interim flyweight title fight between Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France

The UFC will hold an interim flyweight title fight between Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France later this summer. It will be UFC 277 which will take place on July 30th, 2022 at a TBD location. Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed that a Moreno (19-6 MMA) vs Kara-France (24-9 MMA) fight is in the works.

Henry Cejudo has dubbed last weekend’s Rose Namajunas vs. Carla Esparza rematch as the worst fight in UFC history. Namajunas (11-5 MMA) put her strawweight on the line against Esparza (19-6 MMA) in the co-headliner of last Saturday’s UFC 274 event in Phoenix. UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley would like to run it back with Marlon Vera. ‘Suga’ and ‘Chito’ clashed back at UFC 252 in August 2020. O’Malley entered the bout as a somewhat unproven prospect, and Vera was supposed to be the biggest test of his career. It would be a test that he didn’t pass, mostly due to an injury.
