Gamrot entered his first UFC main event riding a three-fight win streak as he knocked out Scott Holtzman, submitted Jeremy Stephens and TKO’d Diego Ferreira. Tsarukyan, meanwhile, was on a five-fight win streak and coming off a TKO win over Joel Alvarez entering his first UFC main event.

The two lightweights exchanged blows in an incredibly technical bout but in the end, it was the Polish star who got the job done – even though many felt as if Tsarukyan had done enough to get over the finish line.
