Ray Longo doesn’t feel like Aljamain Sterling will get the credit he deserves if he’s able to defeat Henry Cejudo at UFC 288. Next Saturday night in Newark, Aljamain Sterling will defend his UFC bantamweight championship against Henry Cejudo. It will serve as the first return fight for ‘Triple C’ following his initial retirement back in 2020.

UFC fighter Anthony Smith has explained why he thinks Alex Pereira could end up having some problems up at light heavyweight. Earlier this month, Alex Pereira fell short in his rematch against Israel Adesanya. He was knocked out by his rival and in addition to that, he lost his UFC middleweight championship. In the immediate aftermath, the Brazilian announced that he’d be moving to light heavyweight for his next fight in the UFC.

Jack Hermansson forced out of slated main event fight with Brendan Allen

Jack Hermansson will no longer be headlining the June 3 UFC fight card. According to MMA Mania’s Alex Behunin, Hermansson has suffered an injury and was forced to pull out of his main event scrap against Brendan Allen. At this time, it’s uncertain if the fight will be rebooked or if the UFC will be searching for a new opponent to face Allen on about five weeks’ notice.

Cody Brundage wasn’t sure if he should accept a fight with Rodolfo Vieira again. Brundage and Vieira were supposed to fight last November, but just before Brundage was supposed to fly to Las Vegas the Brazilian pulled out with an injury. It was disappointing turn of events for Brundage, but he ended up taking a short-notice fight against Michal Oleksiejczuk in December and lost by first-round knockout.
