BMF, for those unaware, stands for “bad motherf**ker.” If that term sounds familiar, it could be because it’s been associated with lightweight action-fighter Donald Cerrone for some time. He even calls his New Mexico MMA compound the BMF Ranch. While you might expect Cerrone to be a little disgruntled about having this term commandeered, he’s actually not too bothered.

On Saturday night, the UFC will return to our screens with the stacked UFC Vancouver card, airing on ESPN+. In the main event of this exciting card, fan favorite lightweight contenders Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Justin Gaethje will collide in a bout rich in title implications. Cerrone will be looking to rebound from a recent loss to top contender Tony Ferguson, while Gaethje will be looking to make it three in a row after recent knockouts of Edson Barboza and James Vick.

Bellator flyweight champion Ilima Lei-MacFarlane is featured in the official music video for the new song Don’t Call Me Angel by pop stars Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey. In the video for this song, which will serve as the lead single on the soundtrack for the new Charlie’s Angels movie, MacFarlane can be seen walloping Cyrus with a wrecking ball of a right hand.
Kevin Lee returning to lightweight

Earlier this year, Kevin Lee announced his intention to move from the lightweight division to the welterweight division. His time in this heavier division did not last long. Donald Cerrone believes a win over Justin Gaethje will give him a big push in the direction of a lightweight title shot. One fighter who could conceivably cut ahead of Cerrone in line, however, is Conor McGregor. Speaking at a scrum ahead of his fight with Gaethje, Cerrone was asked if he was worried about McGregor returning and jumping the contendership lineup. He responded by expressing doubt that McGregor, who he was briefly expected to fight earlier this year, will ever even fight again.

In that event, Hall says he’ll happily step in on short-notice to replace Whittaker against Adesanya — a fighter he seems to respect.
