Over six years ago, a 24-year-old Conor McGregor’s roadmap to an MMA takeover dwelled intrinsically. The dogged chase to be the best fighter in the world was truly about the journey of self-actualization. “Not even martial arts. Life, it’s always you versus you,” McGregor told Fighters Only back in April 2013. “If you’re competing against other people, you’re going to become bitter. Eventually, you’ll become bitter. But if you’re competing against yourself, you’ll become better.”
Henry Cejudo vs Jose Aldo targeted as UFC 250 main event

Combate is reporting that the UFC is aiming to book Henry Cejudo vs Jose Aldo for the Bantamweight Championship as the main event of UFC 250. The landmark show is scheduled to take place on May 9 in Sao Paolo, and while there could always be more title fights added into the mix, UFC seems to be putting their trust in Cejudo and Aldo to deliver a stellar main event in front of the Brazilian fans.
Tyron Woodley vs. Leon Edwards made official for UFC London

ESPN is reporting that Tyron Woodley vs Leon Edwards has been made official as the main event of UFC London on March 21. The bout has been rumored to be taking place on the card for weeks now, with both men noting that they’re more than ready to step up and take on the challenge.
Robert Whittaker issues statement after pulling out of UFC 248 bout with Jared Cannonier

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has released a statement after he was forced to pullout of his slated UFC 248 bout with Jared Cannonier due to personal reasons. The bout was supposed to mark Whittaker’s first since surrendering his middleweight title to Israel Adesanya at UFC 243 this past October.

Israel Adesanya’s first title defense is set as he will headline UFC 248 against the man he has been calling out, Yoel Romero. According to Brett Okamoto of ESPN, Adesanya vs. Romero is official per UFC president, Dana White. TalkMMA (aka Dizz) on Twitter was first to report the fight was being targeted for this card.
Donald Cerrone says he'll grant Conor McGregor an immediate rematch after he wins at UFC 246

Donald Cerrone believes UFC 246 will not be the last time he fights Conor McGregor. “Cowboy” has been wanting this McGregor fight for years now, as he even asked to fill in at UFC 196 when the Irishman needed an opponent. Ultimately, Nate Diaz got that fight and then a subsequent rematch which resulted in massive paydays for both men.

Jorge Masvidal confirms he's willing to defend BMF title, but wants 'creative' stakes

The recent BMF title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz was supposed to be a one-off, but ever since Masvidal claimed the BMF belt for himself, it’s looked increasingly likely that the title will be up for grabs again in the future. Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday’s UFC 246 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Masvidal confirmed that he would be willing to lay his BMF title on the line in a future fight, but only if the stakes are right.

Conor McGregor is no longer the only UFC fighter with his own brand of liquor. On Thursday, top UFC welterweight contender and BMF champ Jorge Masvidal unveiled his new mezcal brand. Masvidal’s mezcal brand is called “El Recuerdo,” which means “memory” in Spanish. See the official release video for this new brand below:

UFC superstar Conor McGregor was asked if a fight against Jorge Masvidal or Kamaru Usman interests him more, and his answer was interesting, to say the least. McGregor and Donald Cerrone took part in the UFC 246 pre-fight press conference on Wednesday in Las Vegas ahead of their big fight this Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in downtown Vegas. It’s expected to be a huge pay-per-view for the UFC.

During his sit-down interview with Aaron Bronsteter of TSN, UFC President Dana White hit on a wide range of topics, and brought some more attention to a possible crossover fight. There have recently been talks of a potential fight between boxing world champion Claressa Shields and reigning UFC bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes, and White isn’t hiding his plans for a fight between the two. When asked for an update on a potential fight between Nunes and Shields, White told Bronsteter that it’s not hard to figure out what’s going on between all parties involved and he believes the best opponent for each fighter is the other.
