UFC President Dana White is very proud of the depth and talent of the promotion’s roster. In fact, he says there are no “easy fights” and no “cans” anywhere on that roster. White made this comment during an interview with Aaron Bronsteter at TSN.

During his sit-down interview with Aaron Bronsteter of TSN, UFC President Dana White hit on a wide range of topics, and brought some more attention to a possible crossover fight. There have recently been talks of a potential fight between boxing world champion Claressa Shields and reigning UFC bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes, and White isn’t hiding his plans for a fight between the two. When asked for an update on a potential fight between Nunes and Shields, White told Bronsteter that it’s not hard to figure out what’s going on between all parties involved and he believes the best opponent for each fighter is the other.
Dana White calls UFC-Reebok deal a 'home run'

Back in 2014 the UFC signed a six-year outfitting deal with Reebok to become the official apparel sponsor of the UFC, and that deal has not gone well in the eyes of many fans and fighters. When fighters could represent their own sponsors, they had more opportunities to make money, but since the Reebok deal was signed, fighters are not allowed to represent additional sponsors. Reebok also pays most fighters much less than they would be paid by their own, individual sponsors.

As things begin to pick up for the UFC in 2020, several fights have been made throughout the first quarter of the year and that includes a lightweight title fight between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and top-contender Tony Ferguson. While this is the UFC’s fifth attempt at making a fight between both fighters, other contenders like Justin Gaethje are waiting on the sidelines. Recently, Gaethje told The Luke Thomas Show on Sirius XM that he would be willing to replace either Ferguson or Nurmagomedov in the scheduled UFC 249 title fight, if either were forced to withdraw. While Gaethje’s recent showings back up the claim that he deserves a title shot, UFC President Dana White doesn’t share the same thoughts.

UFC President Dana White was so impressed by the heroic efforts of Summer Tapasa-Sataraka that he is bringing her out to Vegas for UFC 246. In addition, the UFC boss added that he wants Summer to work for him, this after she was allegedly fired from her job over the incident.
Dana White confirms $250,000 donation by UFC to Australian Red Cross

UFC president Dana White confirmed that the UFC, in conjunction with Endeavor and its partner companies, has donated $250,000 to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. Wildfires have ravaged Australia, killing people and wildlife, destroying homes, and laying waste to the environment. The MMA community has taken notice of the wildfires, with UFC superstar Jorge Masvidal heading to Australia in February and donating proceeds from his visit to controlling the fires. Now White says the UFC is also helping out.

A few weeks back we saw the promotion release “The Showdown”, which was a two-minute promo of epic proportions that almost resembled something from a movie trailer. Now, as the hype behind the fight continues to increase, they’re going all in on making sure that this is one of the biggest fights of the year.

We’re now less than two weeks away from McGregor’s return to the Octagon where he will face off against the aforementioned Cerrone in a welterweight bout. While many fans are questioning the Irishman’s decision to come back at 170 pounds, the overriding feeling is one of excitement as he prepares to put on his gloves and compete for the first time since his UFC 229 loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The fight will also be at welterweight as White says neither wanted to cut down to 155 pounds.
