UFC president Dana White claims the promotion never considered matching up Conor McGregor against Jorge Masvidal or Kamaru Usman. Both Masvidal and Usman were in attendance at UFC 246 last month when McGregor knocked out Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds. Immediately after McGregor got his hand raised, speculation began to pour in about either Masvidal or Usman being the man who gets to fight McGregor next. Fans and media were already buzzing about the prospect of either fight.

But that hasn’t stopped the UFC veteran from respecting his UFC 246 adversary. UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping has weighed in on Saudi Arabia’s reported offer to play host to Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor II. There’s no denying that a rematch between Nurmagomedov and McGregor would be significantly lucrative for both parties and the UFC. Of course, “The Eagle” must get past Tony Ferguson and that is not likely to be an easy task. If he does, however, it opens the door for perhaps the biggest rematch in MMA history.

The Irishman punched former Guinness worker Paddy Mullally outside of an apartment complex in the early hours of Saturday in March 2016. Mr Mullally was accompanied by a man named Shane Cunningham. The pair tried to intervene in a row that Dargan was having with his girlfriend. Subsequently, Dargan aimed a number of punches at the men.
