UFC president Dana White has responded to comments made by Aljamain Sterling as he prepares to return to the Octagon. This summer, Aljamain Sterling is expected to take on Sean O’Malley. He’ll be putting his UFC bantamweight championship on the line just a few months after defending it against Henry Cejudo. ‘Funk Master’ has proven himself to be a real champion, but as many fans know, he’s also had to deal with his fair share of injuries over the years.

Sean O’Malley has no qualms about Henry Cejudo stepping in as a replacement for Aljamain Sterling. During the post-fight press conference for UFC Vegas 73 last weekend, Dana White cast doubts over the champ’s participation in the proposed clash at UFC 292. The UFC president explained that Henry Cejudo has been offering to step in.

Donn Davis, the founder of PFL, has fired back at Dana White. Last week, Francis Ngannou officially signed his contract with PFL and he is expected to debut in 2024, as well as getting to be an executive in PFL Africa among others. Although all the details weren’t out there, UFC president, Dana White was surprised by PFL’s deal as he doesn’t think the promotion knows what they are doing.

UFC President Dana White is open to promoting Jon Jones vs. Tyson Fury. Recently, Fury and Jones took aim at one another and both called for a fight to happen. Despite their mutual interest, the super-fight seemed highly improbable as ‘Bones’ is currently under contract with the UFC and Dana White has made it clear that he doesn’t like “gimmick fights”. However, in surprising fashion, the UFC boss says he is interested in cross-promoting this potential fight.

Since debuting with the world’s leading mixed martial arts organization in 2016, Volkanovski quickly made a name for himself in the UFC. It took the Australian-born athlete just eight fights to get his hands on the UFC featherweight strap when he defeated Max Holloway at UFC 245 in 2019.

Nate Diaz claims Khabib Nurmagomedov avoided a rematch with Conor McGregor. Nurmagomedov and McGregor fought in the main event of UFC 229. It was the Irishman’s return to MMA after boxing Floyd Mayweather, while Khabib was looking to defend his 155lbs title for the first time. The build-up was full of trash talk and in the fight, it was Nurmagomedov who won by fourth-round submission.

MMA legend Randy Couture has revealed which PFL heavyweight he’d like to see throw down with Francis Ngannou. The Ngannou sweepstakes is officially underway. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion is now a PFL fighter, and his first opponent under the promotion is set to make a cool $2 million. Some have already thrown their name in the hat. One of those fighters is former UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell.

It’s safe to say that the relationship between Dana White and Francis Ngannou isn’t the best right now. In fact, you could probably go a step further and claim that it’s broken for good. Following his exit from the UFC, Ngannou was slandered by White in a variety of ways – and the president kept that going during last weekend’s post-fight press conference.

Dricus du Plessis has doubled down on his previous comments about Israel Adesanya as their war of words continues. Later this summer, Dricus du Plessis will collide with Robert Whittaker in a title eliminator showdown. The winner is expected to battle Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight championship, perhaps as early as September. While Whittaker is seen as the clear favorite, there are plenty of reasons to believe that the South African star could make this incredibly competitive.
