Former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw could seemingly be on the way back. The 38-year-old has been out of action since a title fight with Aljamain Sterling at UFC 280 in October 2022. That fight ended a yearlong layoff for T.J. Dillashaw, and he didn’t enter it in the best condition. Just minutes into that bout with ‘The Funk Master’, the former champion had his shoulder dislocated.

Cannonier had been rehabbing an injury when he got the call to go down to Brazil and fight with Costa. Although that is a fight that does interest Cannonier, as it gets him closer to a title shot, he had to turn it down.
UFC 1 fighter Art Jimmerson passes away at age 60

UFC 1 fighter and longtime boxer Art Jimmerson has passed away at the age of 60. Jimmerson (0-1 MMA) is well known for kicking off UFC 1 opposite jiu-jitsu phenom Royce Gracie (15-2 MMA) in November of 1993 and became the first person in UFC history to lose by submission after tapping out to the Brazilian at 2:18 of Round 1. It was to be a very short career in the UFC.

Cory Sandhagen has shared his thoughts on watching Max Holloway knockout his training partner Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. It was on April 13th, at UFC 300 that Justin Gaethje (25-5 MMA) took on Max Holloway (25-7 MMA) in a lightweight bout with the BMF belt on the line. The result was a KO victory for ‘Blessed’ with one second left in the fifth and final round.
