WWE Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch says that Conor McGregor will dominate Khabib Nurmagomedov if and when they do rematch. Lynch and McGregor are two of the biggest sports stars from Ireland and have supported each other many times in the past, so it’s no surprise that Lynch is picking McGregor to beat Nurmagomedov in a rematch between the two UFC superstars.

The sportsbooks have opened up betting odds for a potential bout between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and top contender Jan Blachowicz. Blachowicz knocked out Corey Anderson in devastating fashion at UFC Rio Rancho to emerge as arguably the No. 1 contender in the UFC light heavyweight division. Jones was in attendance for the event and afterward expressed interest in fighting Blachowicz. Of course, Dominick Reyes could still get a rematch after his close loss to Jones at UFC 247. But after knocking out Anderson it looks like Blachowicz could very well be next in line.

Over the weekend, in the co-main event of UFC Rio Rancho, Diego Sanchez picked up a disqualification win over Michel Pereira after being blasted by an illegal knee in the third-round. Prior to the illegal move, Sanchez was seemingly down two rounds. Suffice it to say that it was not the greatest performance of his long and exciting career.

ofOver the last few months, much has been made of a potential super fight between UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Adesanya is seemingly all for this matchup with the heavier man — and that’s not where his inter-divisional ambition ends either. Speaking to  Submission Radio recently, Adesanya’s head coach Eugene bareman claimed the middleweight champ is legitimately interested in climbing all the way to heavyweight to challenge the champ Stipe Miocic in the future.

Ray Borg will no longer be eligible to fight in the flyweight division after being forced by the UFC to move up to bantamweight. “The Tazmexican Devil” Borg has endured trials and tribulations since signing to the UFC in 2014. His fighting career has been hindered with unfortunate illnesses, happenstances and injury. Borg was one of the fighters injured during Conor McGregor’s infamous bus attack targeted at Khabib Nurmagomedov. Borg has also faced many challenges outside of his UFC career. His young son has had multiple brain surgeries due to a condition known as hydrocephalus.

Since making a statement return to the UFC against Donald Cerrone, McGregor has been dropping hints about his next move. Whilst a Jorge Masvidal matchup could be on the horizon, the Irishman could also be inching closer to a boxing return.

The highly anticipated bout served as the co-main event of the evening. After a wild opening few seconds, Pereira was able to establish himself as the dominant force throughout the majority of rounds one and two.

In the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Rio Rancho card, The Ultimate Fighter season 1 winner Diego Sanchez had his second fight under the tutelage of controversial coach Joshua Fabia. The bout pitted him against Brazilian berserker Michel Pereira. Fabia, who calls himself a “self-awareness coach” and has no real martial arts experience, was the lone person in Sanchez’s corner for this fight, and he had some interesting advice for the fighter between rounds.

Unfortunately for the Brit and his team, the fight didn’t go as planned, as he was stopped by a volley of third-round punches from his experienced foe. Following the loss, Wood took to Twitter to issue a quick statement. As expected, the former Cage Warriors champ kept things classy and vowed to be back soon.

In fact, Blachowicz might even be the next man in line for the champion Jon Jones. For what it’s worth, Jones seems very open to the matchup. The light heavyweight champion, who was cage-side for the event, shared his thoughts on Blachowicz — and snuck in a dig at the vanquished Anderson — post-fight.

Unfortunately for ‘Beastin’, Blachowicz found a home for a big right hand in the opening round which sent him crashing to the canvas. From there, Jan delivered a thunderous hammer fist that ended Anderson’s night for good.
