Tony Ferguson has opened up on his knockout loss to Michael Chandler. At UFC 274, Ferguson was looking to snap his three-fight losing streak in a very fan-friendly matchup against Chandler. Although ‘El Cucuy’ was coming off three losses in a row, he did much better than many expected in the first round. However, just seconds into the round Chandler landed a massive front kick that knocked Ferguson out cold.

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman doesn’t really understand those who doubt his striking skills. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has been recently calling for a boxing match with Canelo Alvarez. While the boxing superstar first shot down the fight, he’s instead said that it’s just not going to happen now. That response has gotten anger from both Usman and his manager.

UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland has reacted to Pat Barry’s recent comments about him. Last Saturday night, Rose Namajunas lost her UFC strawweight title to Carla Esparza. The fight was regarded as one of the worst in MMA history, as neither did much. Following the bout, Namajunas’s trainer Pat Barry said that recent drama could’ve affected her.

Dwayne Johnson was just as shocked as everyone else when Michael Chandler knocked out Tony Ferguson. Last Saturday night, the two lightweights met at UFC 274 in Arizona. The bout was a competitive one early, as Ferguson knocked down Chandler in the first round. That first frame was El Cucuy’s first round won in nearly two years. Sadly, the success was short-lived.

Heading into the fight, Blachowicz is a +164 underdog on FanDuel while the Austrian is a -205 favorite. Ahead of the fight, BJPENN.com reached out to pro fighters to get their prediction for the scrap. Although Rakic is above a -200 favorite, the majority of pros believe the former champ in Blachowicz gets the job done as he will look much improved after losing his title.

The Jorge Masvidal – Colby Covington trial date has been set for August 29, 2022. It was Covington (17-3 MMA) vs Masvidal (35-16 MMA) at UFC 272 in March of this year. Covington came out the victor in the welterweight main event. Just over two weeks later Masvidal allegedly attacked Covington outside of the cage.

Cormier missed weight on his first attempt but quickly re-weighed in and appeared to hold the towel to make the weight.
