Cormier and Rogan will be joined by UFC play-by-play man Jon Anik in the three-man commentary booth for this weekend’s blockbuster pay-per-view. With the all-time series tied at 1-1 apiece between the two bitter rivals, the winner of this weekend’s big fight will earn eternal bragging rights as the winner of the trilogy, not to mention earn a title shot against UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. Oh, and there is quite a bit of money that will be on the line, as well.

UFC lightweight contender Rafael Fiziev revealed that he recently had a chance encounter with welterweight Kevin Lee in Las Vegas. Fiziev has been trying to get a ranked opponent ever since he knocked out Renato Moicano last December, and one of the fighters with who he was trying to get a fight was Lee. In fact, Fiziev even made several hilarious callouts on his social media in order to get Lee to fight him, but eventually, Lee decided that he is moving up to welterweight and fighting Sean Brady. Fiziev, meanwhile, does not have an opponent yet despite the fact that Moicano, the man who he knocked out, just had a fight himself a few weeks ago.

UFC middleweight Kevin Holland is set to return to the Octagon on October 2 against Kyle Daukaus, MMA Fighting reports. Daukaus, the younger brother of UFC heavyweight prospect Chris Daukaus, holds a 10-2 professional mixed martial arts record but is just 1-2 since reaching the UFC. His last outing was a unanimous decision loss to Phil Hawes back in May, although he did appear on Dana White’s Contender Series in June 2019. He won the bout on that card against Michael Lombardo but wasn’t quite able to secure a contract.
