Corey Anderson has given his reaction after missing out on $1 million and a Bellator championship. Anderson challenged Vadim Nemkov in the finals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix. Anderson had been finding great success with his grappling up until late in the third round.

Mounir Lazzez has spoken out after heaping praise on suspected Irish mobster Daniel Kinahan. Lazzez was in action this past Saturday night (April 16) on the UFC Vegas 51 card. He took on Ange Loosa and emerged victorious via unanimous decision. It wasn’t Lazzez’s performance that got everyone’s attention, however.

The highly anticipated welterweight main event resulted in a twenty-five minute battle. Belal Muhammad showcased some improved striking and strong grappling to frustrate Vicente Luque throughout the course of the fight. While ‘The Silent Assassin’ appeared to be doing better in the late stages of the contest, timely takedowns by Muhammad kept his comeback at bay.

Brandon Jenkins didn’t expect to get the call to fight Drakkar Klose. Jenkins made his UFC debut on just two days’ notice against Zhu Rong back in September and suffered a third-round TKO loss. After the setback, he wasn’t sure what would be next for him but when he got the call to fight Klose it did surprise him as he considers Drakkar a top-20 opponent.

The news was first broken by ESPN MMA‘s Brett Okamoto. The June 4th event currently has a lot of other matchups already set for the card. Some of the more notable bouts set for the card feature a bantamweight showdown between Dan Ige and Movsar Evloev, and a women’s flyweight fight between Erin Blanchfield and J.J. Aldrich.
