In the main event of the year-end pay-per-view, Covington is taking on the welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. The two have traded shots at one another in interviews and do not like each other one bit. Yet, instead of ‘Chaos’ trash-talking his opponent, he issued a threat to Dana White.

He also revealed the shocking revelation that forced him to turn his life around. The 32-year old fighter is facing the undefeated Sean Woodson in a featherweight bout at UFC on ESPN 6. He is coming off two decision losses against Zabit Magomedsharipov and Hakeem Dawodu.

Dana White has said the upcoming BMF title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will be a one-time thing, but there are some who believe making this belt a one-off will be a missed opportunity. Anthony Smith is one of those people. Smith is on board with the BMF belt, saying that there could be fans who become just a fan of that title, and will call for more fights to happen around that title. During an appearance on MMA Tonight on Sirius XM, Smith told host Ryan McKinnell that it would be a “huge miss” if the UFC only made it a one-time thing.

UFC featherweight contender Yair Rodriguez has responded to a controversial remark from his opponent this Friday night Jeremy Stephens. Stephens, who hasn’t won inside the Octagon since back in February 2018, recently told reporters that “I’m gonna kill this kid. If he don’t die, it don’t count” in reference to his rematch this Friday night against Yair Rodriguez at UFC Boston. The two men squared off at UFC Mexico City less than a month ago, but an accidental eye poke led to the bout being declared a no contest after just 15 seconds.

Cub Swanson picked up the win he sought at UFC Tampa last weekend, defeating Kron Gracie by unanimous decision, but it came at a cost. The long-time featherweight contender sustained a broken hand and injured eye in the fight, and will not be able to compete again until it’s healed and he’s given the all-clear by a doctor.

He was pummelled by multiple students but amazingly he managed to stay on his feet and endure the attack. Like anyone watching the clip, the Bellator fighter was shocked and saddened by the attack. The UFC announced late Wednesday night that The Korean Superboy will take on Canadian Charles Jourdain at UFC on ESPN+ 23, which takes place December 21 at Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea.

The 31-year old goes to great lengths to prepare for his fights. Since he was a child, Nurmagomedov would swim in Russian rivers and go running up the mountains. He trained under the guidance of his father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. His father even built a gym for Nurmagomedov and other youngsters to train out of.
