Combate is reporting that the UFC is aiming to book Henry Cejudo vs Jose Aldo for the Bantamweight Championship as the main event of UFC 250. The landmark show is scheduled to take place on May 9 in Sao Paolo, and while there could always be more title fights added into the mix, UFC seems to be putting their trust in Cejudo and Aldo to deliver a stellar main event in front of the Brazilian fans.

During an appearance on Food Truck Diaries with Brendan Schaub, Cruz took aim at reigning bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo, who claims he’s the greatest fighter of all time. When asked about a potential fight against Cejudo, Cruz took aim at the champion saying that if Cejudo wants to call himself the GOAT, he’d have to beat him first.

That includes Dominick Cruz, Jose Aldo, Cody Garbrandt, Urijah Faber, Weili Zhang, Valentina Shevchenko, and most recently, PFL star Kayla Harrison. The interaction between Harrison and Cejudo, both clients of Ali Abdelaziz and Dominance MMA, began on Twitter, when Harrison compared her accomplishments to those of her fellow Olympian.
