Sean O’Malley has responded to UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja’s callout. At UFC 292 in Boston last weekend, O’Malley became the UFC’s new bantamweight champion with a second-round TKO win over Aljamain Sterling. It was a great performance from ‘Suga’ and after the win, he called for his first title defense to be against Marlon Vera.

Dana White has squashed rumors that Ronda Rousey would soon return to the UFC. ‘Rowdy’ is still one of the biggest stars to ever compete in MMA. Having been the promotion’s first female champion, she quickly notched wins over names such as Miesha Tate, Liz Carmouche, Cat Zingano, and more. However, back-to-back losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes saw her quietly retire.

Max Holloway is motivated heading into his UFC Singapore return against Korean Zombie. ‘Blessed’ has been out of the cage since a win over Arnold Allen in April at UFC Kansas City. That was an important win for the former champion, coming off his loss to Alexander Volkanovski in their trilogy bout last year. Following the win this Spring, Max Holloway called to face the Korean Zombie.

UFC featherweight contender Korean Zombie is unsure of retirement leading into his return against Max Holloway. The former title challenger has been out of action since his failed bid for gold last April. Headlining UFC 273 against Alexander Volkanovski, Chan Sung Jung, also known as Korean Zombie, was dominated. He suffered a fourth-round stoppage defeat at the hands of ‘The Great’ that night.

Ian Machado Garry says his UFC 292 fight against Neil Magny got personal. Garry was originally supposed to fight Geoff Neal at the event, but just a week out,Neal was forced to withdraw from the bout due to injury and was replaced by Neil Magny. It was a scrap that Ian Machado Garry called for, but in the lead-up to the fight, he had no problem with Magny.

Tony Ferguson (25-9 MMA) has the unenviable record of 6 losses in a row in the Octagon. ‘El Cucuy’ most recently fought and was defeated by Bobby Green (30-14 MMA) this past July at UFC 291. Other opponents that have gotten the better of Ferguson include Nate Diaz, Michael Chandler, Beneil Dariush, Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje.

Cub Swanson is saying he would likely have retired if he wasn’t given the nod from the judges’ in his UFC fight with Hakeem Dawodu. It was back on Saturday, August 12th that Cub Swanson (29-13 MMA) defeated Hakeem Dawodu (13-4 MMA) via unanimous decision. ‘Killer’ would be back in the win column after his previous TKO loss to Jonathan Martinez (18-4 MMA) in October of 2022.
