November 12 marked the three-year anniversary of Conor McGregor becoming the first simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history. McGregor took to Twitter to reminisce on this accomplishment, and was promptly ripped by Bellator’s Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, who currently holds the Bellator featherweight and lightweight belts — the same belts McGregor held in the UFC.
Carlos Condit forced out of Mickey Gall fight, Gilbert Burns offers to fill in

Carlos Condit is out of his bout against Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 7, scheduled for December 7 in Washington, DC. Condit was forced to withdraw from his welterweight bout due to injury. According to Sherdog, “The Natural Born Killer” has a damaged retina that will prevent him from fighting Gall.

Adesanya recently completed his ascent to the top of the middleweight division by defeating the previous king Robert Whittaker. Ever since then the jury has been out in regards to what the next step will be for “The Last Stylebender”, with a showdown against Yoel Romero reportedly being right around the corner.

As the Russian has risen through the ranks to become the UFC’s undisputed lightweight champion, Nurmagomedov admits that he doesn’t want to hurt his opponents anymore. During a talk with Russian school students, he said (via RT news): “I had fights in my career where I understood that I could hurt my opponent more, but I’d talk to him, tell him to give up so that I don’t beat him too hard,”
