Former UFC title challenger Nate Diaz absolutely roasted Conor McGregor after the Irishman unveiled his current MMA GOAT rankings list. Earlier today McGregor had taken to Twitter where he proclaimed Anderson Silva to be the current GOAT of MMA, this while adding that he would soon dethrone ‘The Spider’ for top spot.

Former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington has teased an eventual move to pro wrestling and WWE champion Drew McIntyre has taken notice. Back in April, ‘Chaos‘ expressed his desire to make the move to pro wrestling in 2021, vowing to “make wrestling real again”. Those comments caught the attention of reigning World Wrestling Entertainment champion Drew McIntyre, who responded by challenging Covington to an unsanctioned fight outside of the WWE.

Earlier today Conor McGregor took to social media where he revealed his current MMA GOAT rankings which included Jon Jones, Anderson Silva and GSP. Sitting atop McGregor’s list was ‘The Spider’ in former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva. According to the Irishman, Silva’s array of finishes across 2 divisions, with champion status in 1, earned him the top spot.

Reigning light heavyweight champion Jon Jones wanted to shakeup the UFC by moving up a weight class to take on dangerous knockout artist Francis Ngannou. ‘Bones’ announced his intentions on social media and instantly had fight fans salivating over the potential matchup. Even Jones’ longtime rival and former opponent in Daniel Cormier labelled the callout as being “a gangster move”.

Following Maia’s first-round TKO loss to Gilbert Burns at UFC Brasilia he said he had one fight left and it would be against either Diego Sanchez or Donald Cerrone. Yet, he has now had a change of heart and says he will keep on fighting and is also interested in rematching Anderson Silva.

Jon Jones’ reign in the light heavyweight division has been put into question since his closely contested bout against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. Jones won the bout by decision, but some spectators felt “The Dominator” gave the stronger performance.

The full card has been announced for the UFC Fight Night card on May 30 that will be headlined by welterweights Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns. With the card just eight days away, the UFC has released the full 11-fight card for the event, which is tentatively scheduled to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas next Saturday. UFC president Dana White has said he will take his promotion to Arizona to hold his shows there in the event that the state of Nevada doesn’t allow the card to take place.
