With security guards keeping the fans at bay, McGregor gave them a taste of what they can expect next Saturday night at UFC 264 as he shadowboxed for the mob of fans ahead of his trilogy matchup next weekend with Poirier. McGregor and Poirier square off next Saturday night in the main event of UFC 264, which takes place on July 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ahead of next weekend’s blockbuster pay-per-view card, Alvarez was asked who he thinks will win this megafight between two of his former rivals. Alvarez, of course, fought Poirier twice in the UFC and McGregor once, so he knows these two as well as anyone. Paul is coming off of an exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather and Evans would represent another big name on his resume if he is interested in the fight. Woodley said that he was going to take up Mayweather on the offer, and he’s done just that. On Thursday, “The Chosen One” took to his social media to reveal that he is training with Mayweather and shared photos.

UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping shared a photo and a video of the man who allegedly punched him last weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bisping took to his social media last week to say that someone punched him on the street, suggesting it was a weak strike. “Was just assaulted guy got in my face for filming on a public street. I told him to go away and he punched me was literally so soft I laughed at him. So funny that someone that acts so tough hits like such a bitch, I laughed and walked away. Man, I’m mature these days,” Bisping wrote at the time of the incident.

UFC heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane says the UFC tipped him off about a potential interim title fight before he fought Alexander Volkov. Gane defeated Volkov via unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 30 last weekend to improve to 9-0 in MMA and 6-0 in the UFC alone. The Frenchman said after the fight that he wanted to fight UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou for the belt next, but while that won’t happen, Gane was given quite the consolation prize. Instead of Ngannou fighting Derrick Lewis at UFC 265, Gane will now fight Lewis for the interim heavyweight title on August 7.
