Anderson called out Walker publicly on Twitter, and said he wants to fight him at UFC 244, taking place November 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Here’s what Anderson had to say:

The King of Lethwei: Dave Leduc is conquering the world's most brutal sport

Tom Taylor - July 29, 2019

Dave Leduc walks into Arts Martiaux Patenaude in Gatineau, Quebec like any other student might: quietly, with a bag slung over his shoulder, and a few minutes late. In fact, were it not for his size and his interesting tattoos, he might not warrant a second glance. Yet contrary to appearances, this Quebecer is a member of the martial arts pantheon; a fighting titan; a hero in a sport from half a world away. He is the King of Lethwei.

Max Holloway responds to Dana White closing the door on lightweight run

Fernando Quiles Jr. - July 29, 2019

UFC president Dana White isn’t interested in seeing Max Holloway compete at lightweight again, but “Blessed” is up for the challenge. Holloway was seen in action this past Saturday night (July 27). He put the featherweight gold on the line against Frankie Edgar in the main event of UFC 240. The bout went the distance and Holloway was able to find his range and thwart takedown attempts to snag a unanimous decision victory. It’s Holloway’s third successful title defense.

Tom Taylor - July 29, 2019

Two-time UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson is eager to get back on track after an upset, knockout loss to Anthony Pettis, and he knows just when he’d like to do so. In fact, he even has a potential opponent in mind. Speaking to the media backstage at UFC 240 last weekend in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the fighter they call “Wonderboy” called for a scrap with former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos. He said he he’d like the bout to occur at UFC 244 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City this November.

Alex Volkanovski confident he can beat Max Holloway after UFC 240

Tom Taylor - July 29, 2019

Max Holloway successfully defended the UFC featherweight title with a unanimous decision win at UFC 240, but his opponent Frankie Edgar didn’t make it particularly easy for him. Alex Volkanovski, the man widely expected to get the next crack at Holloway, was cage-side for the fight, and says he scored it more closely than the judges did. “I actually thought that was a really close,” Volkanovski told MMA Fighting. “Sitting on the sidelines there, I thought it was a bit closer than what the judges scored, 50-45. I thought Frankie might have won some rounds. Definitely competitive I thought.”

Michael Bisping: I can see Israel Adesanya giving Jon Jones problems

Fernando Quiles Jr. - July 29, 2019

Michael Bisping believes Israel Adesanya could make things interesting in a bout with Jon Jones. Adesanya and Jones have been trading barbs ever since “The Last Stylebender” said he was “hunting” another GOAT after beating Anderson Silva. Adesanya is the interim UFC middleweight champion and he’s set for a title unification bout against Robert Whittaker on Oct. 5. Meanwhile, Jones is coming off the second successful title defense in his current reign as UFC light heavyweight champion.

Dana White says Conor McGregor right behind Tony Ferguson in lightweight title hunt

Adam Martin - July 29, 2019

We know that UFC megastar Conor McGregor is hoping for an immediate title shot when he returns to the Octagon. He wants the winner of UFC 242’s Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Dustin Poirier, but it doesn’t look like he’ll get it, at least not just yet. Speaking to TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter, UFC president Dana White confirmed that although McGregor wants to fight the winner of Nurmagomedov vs. Poirier, the Irish star is behind Tony Ferguson when it comes to getting the next lightweight title shot.

Max Holloway talks potential UFC 243 fight with Alex Volkanovski

Natasha Hooper - July 29, 2019

At UFC 240, Max Holloway successfully defended his featherweight title against Frankie Edgar. The Hawaiian champion has strengthened his reign by defeating some of the UFC’s best talent — now including the former lightweight champion. This leaves many wondering, who will try and dethrone “Blessed” next? Australian fighter Alex Volkanovski is currently ranked number No. 1 in the featherweight division. He most recent fights have also been against top fighters. This includes back to back wins against Darren Elkins, Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo. He is yet to be defeated in the UFC’s Octagon and is confident he’s the man to unseat Holloway.

Jan Blachowicz argues his case for title fight with Jon Jones

Tom Taylor - July 29, 2019

At this point, it’s not clear who will get the next crack at reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. The frontrunners, however, seem to be Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz. Anderson, of course, seems like a much less likely option after UFC President Dana White buried him for turning down fights.

What's next for Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar after UFC 240?

Cole Shelton - July 29, 2019

At UFC 240, Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar finally shared the Octagon together after two previous attempts failed. In the end, it was Hawaii’s Holloway who came out on top, beating “The Answer” by unanimous decision. It was a competitive fight with both Holloway and Edgar having their moments. Yet, it was the champion who landed the better strikes and defended the takedowns en route to victory.

Thomas Taylor - July 28, 2019

Shortly after Jorge Masvidal defeated Ben Askren with a five-second flying knee knockout at UFC 239, he called for a superfight with Conor McGregor. UFC President Dana White, however, promptly shut this idea down, claiming Masvidal is simply too big for a fight with McGregor. Apparently, this comment from White did not go over well with McGregor.

Frankie Edgar talks potential move to UFC bantamweight division

Adam D Martin - July 28, 2019

After losing a unanimous decision to Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 240, future Hall of Famer Frankie Edgar is at a crossroads in his career. Edgar, 37, has lost three potential title shots at 145lbs, twice to Jose Aldo and now once to Holloway. If you go back to his lightweight days, he’s lost five straight title fights altogether. At this point, it’s hard to see him getting another title shot at featherweight.
