Liz Carmouche is the only person to ever finish Valentina Shevchenko, and she expects to do that again. In the main event of UFC Uruguay, Carmouche will rematch Shevchenko for the UFC flyweight belt. The two fought back in 2010, and the American defeated the future UFC champ from Kyrgyzstan by stoppage. Although that was nine years ago, the outcome is still somewhat controversial.
Cris Cyborg opens up on UFC departure, criticizes Dana White

Cris Cyborg has broken her silence on her exit from the UFC. This past Friday afternoon, an interview with UFC president Dana White was released. White told reporter Laura Sanko that the UFC will not match any offers on the table for Cyborg from other promotions.

It was a critical fight for “Chaos” as, should he win, he would finally get that elusive UFC undisputed title shot. In the end, that is exactly what happened as Covington dominated Lawler for the entire fight as he threw over 500 strikes and attempted almost 20 takedowns. Bruce Lee set the gold standard for the martial arts in Hollywood and the world over, and his daughter Shannon Lee is hoping to preserve that legacy. She recently called out Quentin Tarantino’s new movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, for misrepresenting her late father as an “a**hole”. In the film, there is a fight scene between Bruce Lee (played by Mike Moh) and Brad Pitt’s character (Cliff Booth). At first, Lee knocks down Booth. In the second round, Booth launches Lee into a car. They then continue to strike each other before the fight is interrupted. The Bruce Lee character is presented as a less-skilled, irritating caricature that Shannon Lee found “disheartening”.
