Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington traded endless trash talk ahead of their December, 2019 welterweight title fight. Yet after the fight, which the champ Usman won by fifth-round TKO, there seems to be a sliver of respect between the two — at least in terms of their skills. Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience recently, Usman shared his belief that he and Covington are the two best welterweights on earth and acknowledged that, after their 2019 war, they will probably meet again in the future.

It has been just announced that the Frenchman will fight for the Cage Warriors interim featherweight title since current belt-holder Mads Burnell is unable to compete at the moment. Charriere’s opponent hasn’t been announced yet.

Edgar, who many consider to be a legend in the world of mixed martial arts, is coming off the back of consecutive losses at the hands of Max Holloway and Chan Sung Jung AKA The Korean Zombie. The expectation was that he would be moving down to bantamweight to face Cory Sandhagen, but the injuries he sustained against The Korean Zombie ensured that wasn’t going to happen.

Masvidal and Usman have been going back-and-forth at one another on social media and interviews. But, at radio row in Miami for the Super Bowl, Masvidal and Usman got into a confrontation to add to the rivalry. Yet, before that happened, Masvidal did an interview on the Jim Rome show where he said he plans on embarrassing Usman and would even do it today.

Speaking to MMA Fighting, Reyes admitted the threat of eye pokes is something he’s thinking about, and that he intends to remind the referee ahead of time to be vigilant for this potential foul.
