FURY Pro Grappling 3 produced another fascinating evening of entertainment on the mats on Thursday with a whole host of familiar faces taking part. Some were victorious and others fell short but given the relative stakes, it was still a nice showcase for everyone involved.

Former UFC referee John McCarthy has criticized Eagle FC for booking a fight between Diego Sanchez and Kevin Lee. It was announced recently that former UFC fighters Diego Sanchez and Kevin Lee will, in fact, meet in a 165-pound clash as part of Eagle Fighting Championship’s expansion into the United States. The collision is set to take place in March down in Miami, Florida which will be the host city for the majority of EFC’s events in America.

Horie (12-3 MMA) made his lone Octagon appearance at UFC 240 in July of 2019, where he suffered a TKO loss to Hakeem Dawodu. Strickland, the current seventh-ranked UFC middleweight, is known for being brash and that trend continued when a fan asked him if he had ever sparred ‘El Cucuy’. Jake Paul has disputed the recent reports this his rematch against Tyron Woodley tanked on pay-per-view. Paul was originally supposed to face Tommy Fury on December 18. However, less than two weeks out Fury was forced to withdraw from the fight and was replaced with Woodley.
