The Jake Paul lottery is well and truly underway with a parade of fighters attempting to coax him into a fight. In a similar manner to what happens with Conor McGregor in mixed martial arts, everyone knows that Jake Paul is one of the biggest money fights available in professional boxing. A lot of folks don’t like that, but it’s true.

Canelo Alvarez is getting tired of Kamaru Usman taking shots at him. For months now, Usman has been vocal in his desire to box Canelo Alvarez. He believes it would be a massive fight as it would be the pound-for-pound best in MMA and boxing fighting one another. Although even Dana White had said he thinks that would end badly for Usman, the welterweight champ has continued to trash-talk Alvarez on Twitter.

UFC bantamweight Marlon Vera believes he’ll potentially score a title shot with a win over Rob Font at UFC Vegas 53. ‘Chito’ has currently won three of his last four trips to the octagon. The 29-year-old was last seen in action at UFC 268 in November 2021. Vera scored the biggest win of his career with a third-round knockout over Frankie Edgar at Madison Square Garden.
Dominick Cruz names four fighters he’s interested in facing next, including rematching Henry Cejudo

Dominick Cruz has four names in mind for his next fight and one is a rematch with Henry Cejudo. Cruz has not fought since UFC 269 when he defeated Pedro Munhoz by decision to extend his win streak to two. He does not have his next fight booked but the seventh-ranked contender has his eye on anyone ranked above him or the rematch with Cejudo.
Daniel Cormier agrees with the UFC giving Conor McGregor a tune-up fight: "It doesn't hurt him"

Former UFC dual-weight champion Daniel Cormier believes that Conor McGregor should receive a tune-up fight next. The Irishman has been out of the cage since UFC 264 in July 2021. McGregor suffered a broken leg during his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier. The injury has forced him to be on the sidelines for the better part of a year.
Gina Mazany fighting out UFC contract against Shanna Young, plans to get a new deal after finishing her

Gina Mazany knows the pressure is on when she faces Shanna Young at UFC Vegas 53. Mazany is coming off a TKO loss to Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 262 last May and after the fight, the plan was for her to take some time off. Mazany wanted time to work on new skills and improve as a fighter and she thinks she did just that.
Derrick Lewis set to return in July against Sergei Pavlovich

Derrick Lewis will be looking to get back into the win column this July. According to ESPN, Lewis is set to return on July 30 against Sergei Pavlovich. The event does not have a location but Madison Square Garden has been floated out there for the card which is expected to serve as UFC 277.

Tristan Connelly was pumped when he got the contract to fight Darren Elkins at UFC Vegas 53. Connelly says he was offered to fight Elkins last year but ‘The Damage’ wasn’t ready so the Canadian fought Pat Sabatini at UFC 261 and lost by decision. After the fight, Connelly suffered an injury that kept him out for a year but he will now return against Elkins which he is pleased about.

Currently positioned at #7 in the UFC welterweight rankings, he’s got the reputation of being one of the most accomplished strikers and well as one of the most respected fighters in the sport.

Throughout the course of their respective careers in mixed martial arts, both Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili have been involved in some incredible contests. Alas, neither has been able to replicate what they produced together at UFC 248 when they battled it out in a remarkable five-round war in Las Vegas.
