UFC welterweight contender Gilbert Burns is targeting a fight with Jorge Masvidal. The Brazilian has been out of action since his loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 273 in April. While he came up short, Burns was praised for his performance as he took the undefeated Chechen to the limit. The pair received a Fight of the Night bonus for their efforts.

Chael Sonnen believes that UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko could lose to Taila Santos. ‘The Bullet’ is set to face the Brazilian this Saturday in the co-main event of UFC 275. The bout will be the seventh title defense, and during her reign, she’s barely been challenged. Across her title defenses, she’s only lost a single round, to Jennifer Maia at UFC 255.
Luke Rockhold pushes for Cain Velasquez to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame: "Everyone can get behind him"

Luke Rockhold believes that former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez needs to be in the Hall of Fame. Earlier this year, the 39-year-old was arrested on attempted murder charges. Reports stated that Velasquez chased a man in a vehicle, firing multiple times. One man was struck by gunfire but had non-life threatening injuries.

Pena entered the fight as a massive +700 underdog as many thought Nunes would do what she usually does and that is run through her opponent. The first round went the champ’s way but in the second, it was clear Pena was there and still ready to fight. She then began to bring the fight to Nunes and landed heavy shots before sinking in a choke to become the new champ.
