Former UFC dual-weight champion Conor McGregor is doing just fine after having his coaches challenge with Michael Chandler. ‘The Notorious’ and ‘Iron’ are currently coaching the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. As of now, it still remains to be seen if the two will actually fight in the cage. While the former Bellator champion has long called for the clash, the Irishman has instead been more interested in a fight with Justin Gaethje.

Dana White is not happy with how the TUF 31 coaches’ challenge played out. Every year on TUF, the two coaches face off in a challenge for a chance to win money for themselves and their team. Dana White always says it is his favorite part of the season and on Tuesday’s episode, he was looking forward to seeing how Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler would fare in their challenge.

Garry took to his social media on Wednesday and revealed that Geoff Neal has “bitched out” of their fight and he is in need of a new opponent. In the video, Garry confirmed that he would remain on the card and is ready to fight whoever in Boston, but does mention Neil Magny as a potential opponent.

Brendan Schaub is explaining why fight fans need to “give Jake Paul his flowers” following his latest scrap with Nate Diaz. It was just this past weekend, Saturday, August 5th that saw Jake Paul defeat the former MMA competitor Nate Diaz by unanimous decision at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It would be Paul’s 7th victory in the ring (4 by knockout).

She defeated Valentina Shevchenko via submission to win the UFC flyweight championship. In doing so, she capped off a remarkable rise to prominence that many were hoping would one day end in a title win. Of course, following the result, everyone knew they’d have to run it back.

UFC president Dana White has spoken about the possibility of Nate Diaz returning to the promotion in the future. Last weekend, Nate Diaz fell short in his attempt at defeating Jake Paul in the boxing ring. It was a fairly one-sided affair, although the king of Stockton did manage to have a few fun moments in there. Either way, though, he lost, and many have since questioned what’s going to be next for him.

Dana White has taken aim at Stephen Thompson. At UFC 291, Thompson was supposed to fight Michel Pereira but on weigh-in day, the Brazilian missed weight by three pounds. After some time negotiating, Thompson opted not to fight Pereira, which was his right after his opponent missed weight.

Dana White has nothing but praise for Cory Sandhagen. In the main event of UFC Nashville, Sandhagen took on Rob Font on just a few weeks’ notice after Umar Nurmagomedov had to withdraw from their fight due to an injury. Sandhagen entered the bout with a nagging elbow injury and in the first round he hurt his arm even further which forced him to turn to his wrestling.
Israel Adesanya set to defend middleweight title in main event of UFC 293 against Sean Strickland

Israel Adesanya will be defending his middleweight title in Australia. UFC president Dana White announced on Tuesday that Adesanya is set to take on Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 293 on September 9. The event will take place in Sydney, Australia.
T.J. Dillashaw admits that retirement could be temporary: "I'm still the best guy in the weight class"

Former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw will likely be back if all goes well. The 37-year-old last competed at UFC 280 against Aljamain Sterling last Fall. The fight was T.J. Dillashaw’s first in over a year, missing time after a win over Cory Sandhagen due to injury. Prior to that win over ‘The Sandman’, the former champion famously missed over two years of his career due to failing a drug test.
