Ian Machado Garry has sent a stern message to MMA fans who are criticizing Conor McGregor for pulling out of UFC 303 on Saturday. McGregor was supposed to headline the pay-per-view card on Saturday against Michael Chandler, but two weeks out from the fight, the Irishman pulled out of the contest. McGregor later revealed that he withdrew due to a broken toe, which many fans think wasn’t a good enough reason to pull out of the fight.

That’s because of an injury he sustained in training, ruling him out of the high stakes showdown. As of this writing, it’s not yet known whether or not the fight will happen at a later date.

The fight was initially scheduled to be contested at 170 pounds. Plans changed just before fight night, as Gastelum knew he wouldn’t be able to hit the welterweight limit. Both men agreed to fight at middleweight, but Rodriguez wasn’t happy about the circumstances.
