Former UFC light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones is pondering a return to 205-pounds following Jan Blachowicz’s KO victory over Dominick Reyes. ‘Bones’ had announced that he would be vacating his light heavyweight title back in August, this so that he could make a run at heavyweight. That news opened the door for Blachowicz and Reyes to square off for the promotions vacant light heavyweight strap in the co-headliner of tonight’s UFC 253 event.

UFC President Dana White was not happy that former two-division champion shared screenshots of private conversations they had previously. Earlier this week McGregor responded to a retirement fight request from Diego Sanchez by revealing some screenshots of private text messages between he and White which showcased that he had in fact previously requested the match-up.

Dominick Reyes received his second title opportunity when he squared off with Jan Blachowicz for the promotions vacant light heavyweight championship at UFC 253. Reyes had previously challenged for the UFC’s light heavyweight title this past February against Jon Jones, but ultimately wound up suffering a decision loss to the longtime division kingpin in ‘Bones’.
