Alex Pereira didn’t have the right preparation heading into his UFC 281 title fight against Israel Adesanya. Pereira became the UFC’s new middleweight champion with a fifth-round TKO of Adesanya. He was down on the scorecards heading into the final round but landed some power shots against the cage and the ref jumped in to stop the fight.

Conor McGregor is expecting to be back in February. McGregor hasn’t fought since he broke his leg in his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier. Since then, he has been rehabbing his leg but it was revealed he has since withdrawn from the USADA testing pool, but he is already eyeing a return.

According to Ali Abdelaziz, Aljamain Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo is a done deal. ‘Funk Master’ is fresh off his victory over T.J. Dillashaw last month at UFC 280. During the contest, Sterling earned the second-round TKO win after his opponent dislocated his shoulder. As it turns out, the injury was pre-existing one, but nonetheless, the champion was happy with his performance.

UFC 282 had a major shakeup on Wednesday and new the main card lineup has been revealed. Last night, it was revealed that Jiri Prochazka suffered a serious shoulder injury and was forced to withdraw from his UFC 282 light heavyweight title defense against Glover Teixeira. The fight was set to be the main event but with him being out for likely a year, he decided to vacate the belt. The new main event will now see Jan Blachowicz take on Magomed Ankalaev for the vacant light heavyweight title.

Sean O’Malley has opened up on who he thinks would win a potential fight between Alex Pereira and Khamzat Chimaev. At UFC 281, Pereira became the new middleweight champion as he scored a fifth-round TKO over Israel Adesanya. To no surprise, after the win, Chimaev took to social media to call the Brazilian out. He also told Pereira to sign the contract to fight him at UFC 282, which obviously isn’t going to happen.

Conor McGregor has responded after AEW world champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman took shots at Paddy Pimblett. Pimblett is one of the newest stars in the UFC and him and MJF took shots at one another over Instagram comments. It caught many by surprise but one of MJF’s digs was calling Pimblett a dollar store McGregor.

Although he was losing the fight until he stoppage, during the fight, it was clear the Brazilian was much bigger than Adesanya.

Paddy Pimblett has gotten into a heated online exchange with AEW champion MJF. On Saturday, Maxwell Jacob Friedman – more known as MJF – became the new AEW champ and now has Pimblett in his crosshairs. The two had a heated exchange on Instagram on Tuesday which surprised many as the beef came out of nowhere. In the exchange, MJF teased that he will show up at UFC 282 where Pimblett is set to fight Jared Gordon.
