Till would get the opportunity to fight Tyron Woodley for the UFC welterweight title at UFC 228 and it proved to be a bit too soon. Woodley would submitted him in the second round of their September scrap.

After his split decision victory over Thiago Santos at UFC 239 in early July, Jon Jones divulged that he plans to return to action on the UFC’s big end-of-the-year card in December. Speaking on Twitter on Tuesday night, however, the UFC light heavyweight champion hinted at an expedited return, suggesting that he’d be willing to fight on the UFC’s annual November return to Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The waitress then says she told Jones to stop on numerous occasions, but he never did.

Last week, BJPenn.com’s Chris Taylor reported that a featherweight showdown between top contenders Brian Ortega and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung is likely to land on the UFC’s September 21 return to Mexico City. BREAKING! Korean Zombie vs Brian Ortega is in the works for September 21 in Mexico City. It is not a title shot but according to TKZ’s camp, it is “the next best thing”. Worth adding that Chan Sung Jung still wants to compete December 21 in Korea.

Colby Covington was quick to jump on battery allegations against Jon Jones. KRQE News 13 revealed that Jones is facing a battery charge stemming from an alleged April strip club incident. A spokesperson for Jones, James Hallinan, said the accusations are false and that Jones didn’t know of the charge until he was informed by the TV news station.
