To no surprise, Sean is not a fan of Tony and even claimed that Daniels, a current Bellator fighter, once knocked Ferguson out cold.

UFC middleweight contender Darren Till says he is interested in facing Sean Strickland in his UFC return, saying that “I think it would be a good fight.” Till is coming off of a lopsided stoppage loss to Derek Brunson in his last fight, and overall he has struggled lately. Till is just 1-4 in his last five fights, but he is still ranked at No. 8 in the UFC middleweight division so he still has some leverage when it comes to his next fight. If it was up to Till, he would get the chance to fight someone else ranked near him in his next fight. The man one spot above him in the rankings at No. 7 is Strickland. As far as Till goes, Strickland would be a good matchup for him and he wants the UFC to book it.

The pairs beef started shortly after news broke that Strickland’s slated UFC 268 opponent, former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, had to pullout of the November pay-per-view event due to injury.

UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad responded after Sean Strickland threatened to “backhand” him the next time they cross paths. Strickland was set to fight former UFC middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold, in a grudge match next month at UFC 268 in New York City, but the fight is not happening anymore after Rockhold pulled out with an injury. With Strickland now without an opponent, other fighters are now calling him out. For example, middleweight prospect Brendan Allen called out Strickland for a rematch, and Muhammad also offered to step up to 185lbs and fight him. However, Strickland shot down the Muhammad fight, saying that he would “backhand” him if they ever crossed paths again in person after the public callout.

It’s public knowledge that UFC 268 is shaping up to be one of the most stacked cards of the year for the UFC but unfortunately, a grudge match at 185 pounds has been lost after Luke Rockhold revealed a herniated disk will ensure he does not fight Sean Strickland at Madison Square Garden.

L4, L5. The docs say it’s nothing I can play with. I need to do some treatment and recovery time.”

Tuesday, the rising UFC middleweight contender responded to a post made by Danis following the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley boxing match asking where the Bellator welterweight trained. Strickland then took things to their direct messages asking when sparring day is followed by an unavailable post on Danis’ end. Thus prompting him to respond by saying; “Little boy couldn’t take the heat [and] deleted his post. Never come at the king.”

Strickland is the No. 8 ranked middleweight in the UFC following his win over Uriah Hall at UFC Vegas 33, and Gastelum is ranked one spot behind him at No. 9. Next Saturday night, Gastelum takes on Cannonier in a high-profile middleweight fight between top-10 fighters. Ahead of the matchup, Strickland spoke to MMA journalist James Lynch and was asked about his thoughts on the Gastelum vs. Cannonier fight. Strickland did not hold back, ripping Gastelum for being “lazy” while admitting he does have a chance to beat Cannonier.
