UFC light heavyweight Mike Rodriguez is telling fans to lay off of veteran Ed Herman after their fight at UFC Vegas 10 ended in controversy. The recent bout between Rodriguez and Herman was one of the most controversial fights we have seen in the UFC in years. In the second round, Rodriguez appeared to land a brutal knee to the body that sent Herman crumpling to the mat, but referee Chris Tognoni deemed it a low blow and gave Herman the full five minutes to recover. The replays in the arena showed it was a liver shot, but it was too late to change the call.

Witnesses have stepped up to provide details in Conor McGregor’s latest arrest. McGregor was arrested but was released without being charged earlier this week after he allegedly flashed a young woman. A witness revealed McGregor did in fact do just that with his bodyguards by his side.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 10, Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill were looking to snap their losing streaks and get back into contention at strawweight. The two were originally slated to be the co-headliner. Yet, just a week out from the event, they were promoted to the headliner status and agreed to the bout being five rounds as well. The fight was a competitive one and when it went to the scorecards, many were torn on who won. Just like fans on Twitter, the judges were split as Waterson got her hand raised by split decision.

UFC President Dana White recently attended a Donald Trump campaign rally, along with UFC stars Colby Covington, Henry Cejudo and Justin Gaethje. During his speech, Trump sang the praises of White, who he has long considered a friend, and also gave some shoutouts to Covington, Cejudo and Gaethje.

Bellator president Scott Coker confirmed he has reached out to the management of Brock Lesnar, saying it would be a “great opportunity.” Reports recently came out saying that Lesnar, the former UFC heavyweight champion, is a free agent after his contract with the WWE expired and he could be considering offers to return to MMA. UFC president Dana White has already said he’s interested in a Lesnar vs. Jon Jones fight, and Coker has said he is interested in a Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko fight, so it will be interesting to see where Lesnar ends up next should he indeed make a comeback.

Former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz is seemingly in incredible shape ahead of his planned return to the UFC’s Octagon in 2021. The elder Diaz brother recently laid out plans for his first fight in close to five years, even undertaking a test fight camp and weight cut in anticipation of that return. While some members of the MMA community doubt that he’ll follow through on this plan, he certainly seems to be in top shape.

Lobov, 34, spent his last three fights in the BKFC ring, picking up a pair of close decision wins over Jason Knight and Paulie Malignaggi before succumbing to strikes in a rematch with Knight in his third and final BKFC bout.

The long-awaited vacant middleweight title fight between Douglas Lima and Gegard Mousasi has been re-booked to headline Bellator 250. Lima and Mousasi had previously been set to meet at Bellator 242 in May, but the card was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The promotion has been able to re-book the fight and it will now headline the organization’s Bellator 250 event on October 29. That is on a Thursday, a move that Bellator intends to make permanent going forward.

UFC president Dana White praised the promotion’s fighters collectively for their incredible performances during the COVID-19 era. The UFC was forced to take a coronavirus-induced layoff from March to May, but since the Octagon has returned, the fighters have been putting on incredible fights for the fans. Even though fans haven’t actually been inside the venues, the UFC show has gone on without a hitch as the fighters have stepped up with some very memorable fights.

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor, who is currently being investigated amid sexual assault allegations, claims he “can’t go on like this.” Last weekend McGregor was detained in Corsica, an island territory of France, after allegedly exposing himself to a woman. After being interviewed by local authorities, he was released from custody without being charged. However, the case is ongoing.

Dustin Poirier has responded after his prospective foe Tony Ferguson urged Dana White to open his checkbook and make their fight happen. For many weeks, Poirier and Ferguson were linked to a fight at UFC 254 on October 24. Regrettably, the matchup fell through when Poirier and the UFC couldn’t agree on the size of his prize.

Tony Ferguson is calling on UFC president Dana White to give the fans what they deserve and save his Dustin Poirier fight. Ferguson appeared to be in good spirits last week despite losing out on a potential fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 254. ESPN’s Ariel Helwani reported that his opponent was headed back to his home in Louisiana after negotiations for his fight with Ferguson had fallen through.

Covington is set to finally lock horns with Woodley after years of the two rivals going back and forth at one other – whether it be on social media or in interviews. Covington is attempting to bounce back from his Welterweight Championship defeat to Kamaru Usman whereas Woodley has suffered back-to-back defeats against Usman and the new number one contender Gilbert Burns.

White was asked what’s next for Zhang at the conclusion of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 10 card, which was headlined by a clash of ranked strawweights in Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill.

Poirier and Ferguson were linked to a fight at UFC 254 on October 24 for many weeks. Regrettably, this dynamite lightweight matchup hit a snag this week, when news surfaced that Poirier and the UFC could not come to an agreement on terms for the bout.

Former UFC welterweight title challenger and World Series of Fighting welterweight champion Jon Fitch has retired from MMA. Fitch, 42, competed in his final fight at Bellator 246 on Saturday, losing to Neiman Gracie by submission. Post-fight, he announced his decision to hang up the gloves.

On Saturday night, UFC President Dana White commented on the recent allegations of sexual assault against former two-division UFC champ Conor McGregor. Over the weekend, McGregor was detained in the French region of Corsica after being accused of sexual assault and indecent exposure. After being interviewed by local officials, the Irishman was released without being charged. His legal team and management have both released statements vehemently denying the accusations against him.
