Recently, Covington turned heel and upped his personality of being a MAGA and Donald Trump fan. It immediately made many fans start to hate him. Yet, in a recent YouTube video by Chris Chan, he clipped together interviews by Colby Covington in the early days of his UFC career and now and it shows how much he turned heel.

It appears the UFC wanted Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor to be the coaches on the return of The Ultimate Fighter according to Ali Abdelaziz. For months now, Dana White has been adamant that TUF will be brought back. Originally, Paulo Costa’s team called for him to coach against Israel Adesanya but White wanted McGregor to coach against the winner of Nurmagomedov-Gaethje.
After having a "really bad" case of COVID-19, Irene Aldana eyes stoppage win over Holly Holm to earn title shot

Irene Aldana is glad she will still be the main event against Holly Holm. Aldana was supposed to fight Holm in Las Vegas on August 1, yet she had tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced to pull out of the fight. It was also a bad case of the coronavirus and Aldana said it had impacted her training quite a bit.
Brandon Royval says Kai Kara-France win "was pure domination," wants a top contender in December

Adesanya, the UFC middleweight champion, took on ferocious Brazilian knockout artist Paulo Costa last Saturday night. After winning via second-round TKO, he briefly pretended to hump his vanquished foe.

UFC welterweight contender Leon Edwards claims that superstar Jorge Masvidal spurned a potential fight against him in favor of Nate Diaz. Edwards and Masvidal have been connected to a potential fight ever since their back-stage scuffle at UFC London in March 2019. With Edwards needing a fight against a top-five opponent and with Masvidal coming off of a title fight loss to champion Kamaru Usman, a fight between Edwards and Masvidal seems like it would make a lot of sense right now. But according to Edwards, the UFC tried to book this fight and Masvidal is the one who said no.

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov gave fans a closer look at his training camp for UFC 254 in a series of new photos released. Nurmagomedov returns to the Octagon for the first time since September 2019 when he takes on interim champ Justin Gaethje in a title unification bout at UFC 254 on October 24. Nurmagomedov will be fighting with a heavy heart after the death of his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov earlier this summer after a fatal battle with COVID-19. Ahead of his big fight with Gaethje, Nurmagomedov has released photos of his training camp.

UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington has praised UFC president Dana White for defending him after his recent racism controversy. Covington was accused of racially insulting 170-pound champion Kamaru Usman when the two had a heated exchange after “Chaos” defeated his long time rival Tyron Woodley in dominant fashion. He also proceeded to go after the Black Lives Matter movement and called Woodley a “communist”.

Former UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones posted a new video of him lifting weights as he appears to still be bulking up for heavyweight. Jones gave up his belt at 205lbs this summer and announced that after nearly a decade at the top of the UFC light heavyweight division he is setting his sights for the heavyweight division. This past Saturday night at UFC 253, Jan Blachowicz claimed the vacant belt when he knocked out Jones’ former rival Dominick Reyes. After Blachowicz won the fight, Jones sent out a few tweets indicating that he could be considering a return down to 205lbs.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor challenged long-time rival Dustin Poirier to a charity MMA fight, and “The Diamond” has issued his response. McGregor has been in the news this weekend after he released text messages of a private conversation he had with UFC president Dana White earlier this year regarding a potential fight with Diego Sanchez. White said releasing the images was a dirty thing to do and McGregor fired back at the UFC president. It’s a big mess, and the biggest problem is it doesn’t get McGregor any closer to fighting. He hasn’t fought since January at UFC 246.

The UFC was back on Fight Island last weekend for a very solid UFC 253 card that saw two titles on the line. In the main event of UFC 253, Israel Adesanya remained undefeated as he scored a second-round TKO win over Paulo Costa. The co-main event saw Jan Blachowicz become the promotions new light heavyweight champion with a TKO win over Dominick Reyes.
