Scott Coker says Bellator talking to Megan Anderson
Adam D Martin - April 2, 2021
Bellator president Scott Coker says that his promotion is currently in talks with former UFC featherweight title challenger Megan Anderson. Anderson was recently released by the UFC following the expiration of her contract in the wake of a first-round submission loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 259. Despite losing that fight and becoming a free agent, Anderson is still a big name in the world of the women’s featherweight division. With Bellator having Cris Cyborg as the champion and a slew of other 145lbs women fighters including Julia Budd and Cat Zingano, it makes sense that the promotion would reach out to Anderson about the possibility of joining Bellator.

Michael Chandler predicts first-round KO over Charles Oliveira at UFC 262
Adam D Martin - April 1, 2021
UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler is predicting a first-round knockout win over Charles Oliveira when they meet on May 15 at UFC 262. Chandler and Oliveira meet in the main event of UFC 262 with the vacant UFC lightweight title on the line. Coming off of a brutal KO win over Dan Hooker in his promotional debut at UFC 257, Chandler earned himself the opportunity to fight Oliveira, the UFC’s all-time greatest submission artist who has improved his standup in recent years. It’s a fascinating matchup between two of the best lightweights in the world, but if you ask Chandler, he’s the one who is going to go out there and impose his will.

Adam D Martin - April 1, 2021
Ben Askren continued to jab at Jorge Masvidal, saying that “I can’t stand Colby, but let’s be real fake street Jesus was afraid to fight him.” Askren and Masvidal first met back at UFC 239 in July 2019, and “Gamebred” finished that fight with a five-second flying knee to become a global superstar. Ever since then, the two have continued to talk trash to each other on social media here-and-there. But now that Askren is back in the spotlight with the boxing match against Jake Paul just around the corner, the past rivalry between Askren and Masvidal seems to have been re-ignited. After Masvidal appeared on FaceTime at a recent Asken vs. Paul press conference to troll his longtime rival, Askren took another shot at Masvidal on social media. The cycle continues.
