Michael Bisping has responded after finding out he has a spot on Jake Paul’s ‘hit list’. Jake Paul has not fought since December of 2021 when he entered the ring with Tyron Woodley, where he won and improved his professional boxing record to 5-0. It seems he is ready to get back to boxing and has released his short list – six names to be exact, one of which he would like to match up with for his next high-profile bout.

Upon being released from his UFC contract, Anderson signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA on August 7, 2020.

‘Big’ John McCarthy has responded to Aljamain Sterling throwing shade at him on Twitter. Last Saturday night, ‘Funk Master’ faced off against Petr Yan for the second time. 13 months after their first encounter ended in a disqualification, Sterling captured his second victory over Yan via split-decision. The win didn’t come without controversy, as many thought ‘Mercy’ should’ve won the bout.

Jacare Souza has confirmed that his MMA retirement is still ongoing. However, a trip into the squared circle isn’t off the table. The 42-year-old retired from the sport in 2021 following a four-fight losing streak. A technical submission loss to Andre Muniz at UFC 262 saw the middleweight great announce that he was done inside the cage. However, earlier this year, he said that he was going to box instead.

Jake Paul and Dana White have not seen eye-to-eye but the brash YouTuber-turned-boxer believes he will fight in the UFC at least once. Paul is currently an undefeated boxer but has recently hinted at making the transition to MMA. He released training videos of him practicing kicks and has also pointed at his wrestling background from high school. Although many expect him to take an MMA fight in another organization due to the fact White doesn’t like him, Paul says it’s undeniable he will fight in the UFC.

Robert Whittaker has responded to Aljamain Sterling’s apology form. ‘The Reaper’ had shade thrown at him by the UFC bantamweight champion earlier this week. Aljamain Sterling defeated Petr Yan last weekend at UFC 273. The bout was a rematch of their fight at UFC 259 in March 2021. Their first encounter saw ‘Funk Master’ losing until a fourth-round DQ saw him win the bout. As such, many fighters and media thought that Sterling would lose to Yan cleanly in the rematch.

Nina Nunes is set for her UFC flyweight debut against Cynthia Calvillo this July at UFC Fight Night 210. The bout was first reported by Brett Okamoto from ESPN MMA. As of now, the fight is only one of three bouts set for the event. Also set for the Fight Night event is a bantamweight fight between Ronnie Lawrence and Saidyokub Kakhramonov, and a women’s flyweight bout between Antonina Shevchenko and Courtney Casey.

Belal Muhammad doesn’t think Colby Covington is actually interested in fighting top contenders at welterweight. Muhammad is set to headline UFC Vegas 51 in a welterweight rematch against Vicente Luque. The winner of the fight will likely be one win away from a title shot and Covington could be a potential opponent, yet for Muhammad, he doubts ‘Chaos’ actually will fight ranked opponents. Instead, he believes Covington only tries to face people on the way out or fighters in divisions below him.

Aljamain Sterling still doesn’t understand why he was such a big underdog against Petr Yan. Sterling was looking to defend his belt in the co-main event of UFC 273 against Yan in an intriguing rematch. Heading into the fight, the champ was a +300 underdog but Sterling only used that as motivation as he knew his grappling could win him the fight.

Bobby ‘King’ Green has weighed in on Jorge Masvidal attacking Colby Covington. It was only a couple of weeks after Colby Covington (17-3 MMA) defeated Jorge Masvidal (35-16 MMA) at UFC 272 in March of this year, that Masvidal allegedly ambushed ‘Chaos’ outside a Papi Steak restaurant in Miami, Florida. The incident ended with Colby being sucker punched by ‘Gamebred‘ in the face twice, suffering a broken tooth, plus he sustained damage to his $90K Rolex watch.
Defense attorney says accused child molester in Cain Velasquez case is innocent: “He didn’t do it”

The Cain Velasquez case is in the news again, with the defense attorney for Harry Goularte, accused child molester, talking to the media claiming his client is innocent. It was Cain Velasquez who entered into a high speed chase and fired shots into the vehicle Goularte and others were in, who has been charged with attempted murder as well as other charges. It was Goularte’s stepfather, Paul Bender, who was injured in the incident. Valesquez was incensed by the fact that Goularte had allegedly abused a minor child, a relative of the fighter, and was subsequently released on bail.

Shavkat Kakhmonov has reacted after being labeled a ‘chump’ by Khamzat Chimaev. Khamzat Chimaev (11-0 MMA) is just coming off his victory over Gilbert Burns (20-5 MMA) this past weekend at UFC 273. The undefeated Swede is looking to keep his winning streak going, ultimately looking for a title bout.

Henry Cejudo has rejected Michael Bisping’s opinion that he is too small to overcome UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski. Last week, Henry Cejudo announced that he will be re-entering the USADA testing pool with the intention of returning to active competition. The UFC 273 medical suspensions have been revealed and Korean Zombie did not get the lengthy suspension that some may have thought. In the main event of UFC 273 last Saturday from Jacksonville, Korean Zombie was facing Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight title. From the get-go, it was clear Volkanovski was a step ahead of the challenger and he ended up getting a fourth-round TKO win. In the fight, Zombie absorbed 138 significant strikes and 158 total strikes.

Bellator featherweight champion A.J. McKee has revealed the price that is needed for him to stay in the promotion. ‘Mercenary’ is coming off a victory over Patricio Pitbull last July. The victory saw him win Bellator featherweight gold, as well as the promotion’s 145-pound Grand Prix. He’s now set to rematch the former champion this Friday at Bellator 277.

Drakkar Klose doesn’t think he will ever be the same after the shove from Jeremy Stephens at the face-off after weigh-ins. Klose and Stephens were set to fight at UFC Vegas 24 on April 17, but Stephens shoved Klose at weigh-ins, and right away he knew something was wrong. He was still dehydrated and didn’t expect the shove which is why he thinks the injury was so bad.
