Deiveson Figueiredo has reportedly been forced to withdraw from his scheduled return to the Octagon later this year. For the last few years, Deiveson Figueiredo has been involved in one of the best rivalries in UFC history. Alongside Brandon Moreno, the two men fought for the UFC flyweight championship four times. They split one win each alongside a draw and as a result, they took part in one final collision at UFC 283.

Israel Adesanya entered his UFC 287 fight against Alex Pereira with an injury. Adesanya rematched Pereira on April 8th for the middleweight title he lost back in November of 2022 by fifth-round TKO. After the loss, ‘The Last Stylebender’ was vocal in wanting an immediate rematch as he was confident that he had all the tools needed to win. Yet, the week before the fight, Adesanya says he tore his MCL.

Brundage and Vieira were supposed to fight last November, but just before Brundage was supposed to fly to Las Vegas the Brazilian pulled out with an injury. It was disappointing turn of events for Brundage, but he ended up taking a short-notice fight against Michal Oleksiejczuk in December and lost by first-round knockout.
