That being said, he says he’s received some support from two female UFC stars in Amanda Nunes and Rachael Ostovich. When Hardy was booked to make his UFC debut against Allen Crowder at UFC on ESPN+ 1, a lot of people were critical of the organization for putting the former pro bowl defensive end on the same card with Ostovich, who was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her ex-husband Arnold Berdon.

Late last night, it was reported that Jon Jones was charged with battery. It is alleged that the UFC’s light heavyweight champion touched a strip club waitress inappropriately, and then forced her onto his lap as he kissed her neck, and put her in a chokehold. The waitress then says she told Jones to stop on numerous occasions, but he never did.

Masvidal has been the talk of the mixed martial arts world since his flying knee knockout over Ben Askren. Two former UFC lightweight standouts are set to headline an upcoming Bellator card. The promotion announced on Monday that former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson will take on Myles Jury in the main event of Bellator 227. The event takes place Sept. 27 in Dublin, Ireland. The fight pairing was confirmed during Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN on Monday and announced in a Bellator press release.

Of course, it’s not like he hasn’t been thinking about hanging up the gloves. Colby Covington was quick to jump on battery allegations against Jon Jones. KRQE News 13 revealed that Jones is facing a battery charge stemming from an alleged April strip club incident. A spokesperson for Jones, James Hallinan, said the accusations are false and that Jones didn’t know of the charge until he was informed by the TV news station.

But White is adamant that Cyborg does not want the fight. White told TMZ Sports that Nunes told him she wants to fight Cyborg again, but said Cyborg doesn’t want the matchup, and gave his reason why he believes that’s the case.

This incident reportedly occurred in April. The details surrounding this story have been quite scarce thus far, but a report from TMZ has provided some new information from the alleged victim’s side.

The former UFC middleweight champion and newest Hall of Famer looks to have done it again when it comes to current two-division champs Amanda Nunes and Henry Cejudo. Earlier this month, Cejudo joked that he wants to take every championship in the UFC — including those that belong to Amanda Nunes. Despite the comedic connotation attached to the statements of the reigning UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion, Bisping says he would love to see the fight.
