UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier doesn’t believe that Conor McGregor has any interest in a rematch against him. Poirier and McGregor first met way back at UFC 178 in September 2014 in a featherweight bout. At the time, Poirier was one of the top contenders at 145lbs, while McGregor was on his way up the ladder. Looking back, it’s crazy to see that McGregor vs. Poirier was third on the main card behind Demetrious Johnson vs. Chris Cariaso in the main event and Donald Cerrone vs. Eddie Alvarez in the co-main event.

Alex Hernandez was not impressed by the performance Donald Cerrone put forth in his 40-second UFC 246 loss to Conor McGregor — and that’s putting it lightly. Hernandez, who was knocked out by Cerrone in early 2019, went after his former foil during a recent scrum with the media, accusing the fan favorite veteran of quitting against McGregor.

UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier doesn’t believe he will fight Nate Diaz because he claims the superstar is retired. Poirier has been calling out Diaz for months on social media, but so far nothing has come from it. On Friday, Poirier did a Q&A session with fans on his Twitter, and one fan asked him if he would like to fight Diaz at International Fight Week in July in Las Vegas.

The UFC 247 weigh-ins took place Friday morning and all 24 fighters scheduled to fight on Saturday’s pay-per-view card made weight for the event. In the main event of the evening, both the champion and challenger successfully made weight, meaning we officially have a title fight. UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones weighed in one pound under the championship title fight limit at 204lbs. His opponent for the fight, Dominick Reyes, came in at the championship weight limit of 205lbs.

Now, with very few other contenders in the running, they’re expected to run it back at some point in 2020 — marking three straight years where they would’ve squared off.

On Wednesday February 5, Penne’s Manager Brian Butler suspended her GoFundMe campaign which was set up to help the strawweight raise money for an arbitration hearing against the anti-doping organization USADA.

Smith made headlines for saying Donald Cerrone quit when he fought Conor McGregor. The Irishman and Joe Rogan said the ESPN personality was wrong and it led to Smith and Rogan having a back-and-forth.

He often runs it every day and gets hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. Apple also announced “JRE” as the number one podcast in the world with over 190 million downloads a month.

Dana White has given his take on the ongoing drama between MMA analyst Joe Rogan and ESPN analyst, Stephen A. Smith. At UFC 246 on Saturday 18th January 2020, Conor McGregor returned to the Octagon to face Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone. He utilized shoulder strikes, his signature left, and ground and pound to seal the victory in just 40 seconds of the very first round. The Irishman’s decisive win had some spectators questioning Cerrone’s fighting ability, including ESPN commentator Stephen A Smith.

After Anderson knocked out Johnny Walker in his most impressive performance to date at UFC 244, he called out Jones for a title shot once again. Anderson and Jones have had a feud for a while now, but Anderson was always lacking that trademark win that he needed to get a title shot until the Walker fight.
