Devin Clark has yet to get a UFC finish but says that will change at UFC Rio Rancho this weekend. Clark was expected to take on Gadzhimurad Antigulov, but the Dagestani withdrew and Dequan Townsend stepped in who fought not even a month ago at UFC Raleigh. Townsend is a natural middleweight and 0-2 in the UFC. So, Clark knows he will be dangerous as Townsend will be fighting for his UFC job.
Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic betting odds released

Betting odds have been released for a potential superfight between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. After Jones defeated Dominick Reyes in controversial fashion at UFC 247 with a unanimous decision win, the question now is who does Jones fight next. There remains the possibility of a rematch between the two, or perhaps Jones could fight the winner of the UFC Rio Rancho main event between Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz. But there also exists the possibility of a superfight between Jones and Miocic.
Update: Miami Herald mistook another fighter for Nate Diaz, Diaz camp exploring legal action

On Wednesday, the Miami Herald published an inaccurate article reporting that UFC welterweight star Nate Diaz had been hospitalized after brawling with cops during a domestic violence arrest in Miami. The veracity of this story was immediately called into question by Diaz’s team, who denied it outright and pointed out that Diaz has not been in Miami for over a week.
Niko Price vs. Muslim Salikhov added to UFC Lincoln

An exciting welterweight bout between finishers Niko Price and Muslim Salikhov is the latest addition to the UFC Lincoln card. UFC on ESPN+ 31 takes place on April 25 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The card is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between top contenders Glover Teixeira and Anthony Smith. Price vs. Salikhov will likely be placed on the main card for the event.

They will fight for five rounds or less at UFC on ESPN+ 28, taking place on March 14 at Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil.

UFC 247 was an entertaining card with plenty of finishes and some exciting, back-and-forth wars. Unfortunately, as is so often the case with entertaining cards of this kind, the result is quite a few lengthy medical suspensions. This time around, that includes a potential six-month sit for UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko, who decimated Katlyn Chookagian in the UFC 247 co-main event. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversaw the UFC 247 card in Houston, does not disclose the details of their medical suspensions the way other state commissions do, so we don’t know what injuries and health concerns have caused the suspensions each fighter received. We also don’t know if the fighters listed below can compete earlier if they’re cleared by a doctor, but that is usually the case.

UFC 247 was filled with great moments on Saturday night, but it was also mired in controversy when it came to the judging and the scoring of a handful of fights in Houston. One of the fights that many feel was controversial upon completion was the fight between Andrea Lee and Lauren Murphy. The women’s flyweight bout took place during the ESPN preliminary card on Saturday night and was ultimately scored for Murphy via split decision. Judge Patrick Patlin scored the bout 29-28 for Lee. Chris Lee scored it the same for Murphy, while the third judge, Danny Dealejandro, scored it 30-27 for Murphy.

Michel Prazeres suspended two years by USADA

UFC welterweight Michel Prazeres has accepted a two-year sanction by USADA for violating the UFC Anti-Doping Policy after testing positive for banned substances.
