Earlier today, Dana White announced some massive fights for UFC 287 on April 8th. The UFC president stated that he had some massive announcements slated for this afternoon. White then took to Instagram to confirm several other matchups that had already been announced. Such as Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 in March.

Alex Pereira is ready to face either Israel Adesanya or Robert Whittaker next. ‘Poatan’ has been out of action since November, when he faced ‘The Last Stylebender’ at UFC 281. While it was the two’s first clash in the cage, they had fought twice as kickboxers. In both outings, Pereira picked up the victory.

Israel Adesanya’s manager Tim Simpson has released a statement about ‘The Last Stylebender’ being arrested at JFK airport in New York. According to TMZ Sports, Adesanya was arrested for alleged criminal possession of a weapon at JFK airport. The former middleweight champion was apparently busted while going through security with metal knuckles. The arrest was made by the Port Authority Police Department near the TSA screening area near the American Airlines terminal around 1:57 PM.
