Former UFC champion Henry Cejudo took a shot at boxer Ryan Garcia, telling the vacant WBC interim lightweight champion to “shine my shoes.” Garcia scored a brutal seventh-round TKO victory over Campbell on Saturday during a highly-anticipated battle between the two lightweights. Campbell was able to score a knockdown in the second round of the fight but Garcia was able to survive it and hold on. In the seventh round, Garcia landed a nasty liver punch that left Campbell unable to continue, declaring him the winner. Davis picked up a devastating KO win over Cruz this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas. In his first appearance in the boxing ring in 2020, Davis picked up a sixth-round KO win to improve his overall boxing record to a perfect 24-0 with 23 knockouts. Davis is one of the top fighters at lightweight right now and so is Garcia, so a fight between them in the near future is certainly a possibility.

Boxing star Ryan Garcia says he is open to fighting Teofimo Lopez Jr. after his shocking upset win over Vasiliy Lomachenko on Saturday night. Lopez Jr. won a unanimous decision with the judges scoring it 116-112, 119-109, and 117-113 in his favor. Lopez Jr. was able to outbox Lomachenko for the majority of the rounds to take the win on the scorecards. Lopez Jr. is now 16-0 in his boxing career while Lomachenko dropped to 14-2. Lopez Jr. was the IBF lightweight champion coming into this fight and also added the WBA, WBO, and WBC titles with his big upset victory.
