Hearn spoke highly of the former two-division champion.

Andy Ruiz Jr is preparing to face Anthony Joshua in a rematch, after beating the UK fighter in June. The Mexican champ shocked viewers when he beat the formerly undefeated unified WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion via stoppage. Anthony Joshua has been putting the time in to train, but Ruiz believes his opponent will be taking time out if he loses again.

Eddie Hearn wants his star fighter Anthony Joshua to to “snap out of” the negative mindset he’s had ahead of his rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr. Joshua has recently admitted to feeling disillusioned with the sport of boxing as he prepares to face his rival Ruiz in Saudi Arabia this December. The British star left the world shocked when he lost his WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight titles in his first fight against Ruiz, which went down at Madison Square Garden earlier this year.

Dana White will soon launch Zuffa Boxing, a promotion that he hopes will revolutionize The Sweet Science. As Zuffa Boxing draws nearer and nearer to fruition, White has said that he hopes to apply the same practices that have made the UFC so successful to this new boxing venture. “It’s the sport and the politics in the sport and it has always been that way and if somebody doesn’t change it, it’s always gonna be that way,” White told Helen Yee recently.
