Paige VanZant is no longer an MMA fighter… for the time being. And that means it’s off to the ring to prove herself in bare-knuckle boxing. VanZant signed with the Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) after becoming a free agent in Summer 2020. During her time with the UFC, the 26-year old would go 5-4 and take on several notable names such as an eventual champion in Rose Namajunas.

David Feldman is hoping to meet with Yoel Romero in the coming days. On Friday, it was revealed Romero was shockingly released from the UFC. Immediately, many thought the middleweight would sign with Bellator or PFL. However, on Monday, it was reported both promotions aren’t interested in bringing in the 43-year-old.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will not be trying to sign Anderson Silva. Back on Halloween night, Silva made the walk to the Octagon for the final time and lost by TKO to Uriah Hall. Since the event, Dana White has been adamant that was the last time the Brazilian would compete for the UFC. It was then revealed he was released from his contract. With him now being a free agent, the former middleweight champion made it clear he was looking to fight again.

Starr, who is 1-1 as a bare knuckle fighter, recently shared her belief that VanZant’s hype train will be derailed in the BKFC ring. Regrettably, her trash talk included a comment that immediately stood out as extremely distasteful given VanZant’s history of sexual abuse.

Diaz is a 39-year-old Cuban boxer who has racked up a 12-1 record in boxing with 11 knockouts, plus a 1-0 record in MMA and a 2-0 record in bare-knuckle boxing. The Miami native made it 2-0 in BKFC 14 on Saturday when he scored an incredible KO that set the record for the fastest knockout in the history of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Hart (4-4-3), a professional boxer from Virginia, returned to action at last night’s BKFC 14 event. The 30-year-old walked away with a fourth round TKO victory over opponent Randine Elkholm.

This Friday, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will return to our screens with the intriguing BKFC 14 card in Miami, Florida. BKFC 14 will be topped by a 155-pound title fight between champion Luis Palomino and top contender Jim Alers. The pair were originally expected to meet for the vacant lightweight title in July, but Alers was forced out of the matchup when members of his camp were exposed to COVID-19. He was then replaced by fellow UFC veteran Isaac Vallie-Flagg, who Palomino defeated by first-round stoppage to claim the vacant belt.
