Former Bellator welterweight contender Paul Daley confirms he’s done fighting. Well, that’s unless he’s offered a fight with Jorge Masvidal or Nick Diaz. ‘Semtex’ had his swan song last Friday night at Bellator 281 in London. The 39-year-old knocked out Wendell Giácomo in his final fight, a fitting end to his career. However, it may not be the end after all.

Dustin Poirier may very well be fighting Colby Covington next. After Covington beat Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272 he called out Poirier, yet ‘The Diamond’ showed no interest in it. He said he didn’t want to allow Covington to make any money by fighting him. Now, however, it appears he has an interest in the bout as he tweeted at ‘Chaos’ saying he accepts the challenge.

Cain Velasquez has spent the last three months behind bars after he allegedly got into a high speed chase and shot at Harry Goularte, a man accused of molesting a four year old relative of the fighter. While the shot missed Goularte, bullets struck his stepfather instead.

The strawweight rematch is only scheduled for three rounds.
