Michael Chandler believes it is likely he will face Conor McGregor next. After Chandler scored a highlight-reel KO win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274, he called for the title fight or a bout with McGregor. After some time to think about what the UFC might do, he believes he makes the most sense for McGregor’s return as it’s a fan-friendly fight where the winner would get a title shot.

Floyd Mayweather will still be boxing after all. Mayweather was supposed to box Don Moore on May 14th atop the helicopter landing pad at Burj Al Khalifa Hotel in Dubai. Former UFC champion Anderson Silva was set to be on the card as well. However, just days before the event, due to the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which has prompted the country to announce a three-day suspension of work, the event was canceled.

Nurmagomedov and Ferguson were booked to fight five different times and due to botched weight cuts, injuries, and a global pandemic, the bout never came to fruition. Nurmagomedov’s father had said he always thought he needed to compete against ‘El Cucuy’, so Ferguson wants it to be coaching TUF given the former lightweight champ is now retired.

It was last Saturday, May 14th at UFC Vegas 54 that Ion Cutelaba (16-7 MMA) fought Ryan Spann (20-7 MMA) in the light heavyweight co-main event.  Cutelaba came out swinging hard, but Spann caught him off balance and out of position, locking him in a guillotine choke in round 1 for the win.
