Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is eyeing a rematch against long-time rival Junior dos Santos when he returns to the Octagon in 2020. Werdum and dos Santos first met back at UFC 90 in October 2008 in what was JDS’s UFC debut. Werdum was a big favorite to win the fight, but JDS shocked the MMA world when he brutally knocked Werdum out in the first round in less than two minutes.
Dantas: Jose Aldo will ‘surprise everyone’ in bantamweight debut

Jose Aldo’s longtime training partner Eduardo Dantas has claimed that Aldo is going to surprise everyone upon making his official bantamweight debut. Dantas, a former two-time champion in Bellator, has been with Aldo for over a decade over in Brazil, and will play an integral role in assisting him for his new weight venture. Many have questioned Aldo’s decision to go down instead of up, with many believing that he instead should’ve given lightweight a try.

UFC welterweight James Krause recently did an AMA on Reddit and a fan asked him who he believes is the most annoying fighter in MMA. Krause said it’s Luke Rockhold. MMA fighters often take to Reddit to do an AMA (‘Ask Me Anything’) with fans, who are able to communicate directly with some of the best fighters in the sport. Krause was a guest on the MMA subreddit on Thursday and answered a number of fan questions, including one on who he thinks is the most annoying fighter in MMA.

The 19-year-old Blanchard was confirmed dead this week after an investigation into her shocking disappearance. Harris up until this point has remained out of the media spotlight as the police investigated the incident, but has now broken his silence about his daughter’s passing after it was confirmed by law enforcement officials in Alabama.
UFC Auckland gets three exciting bouts

Three Australian fighters have been added to the card for UFC Auckland which will take place in New Zealand on February 22, 2020. It was recently announced that Kiwi native and number 7 ranked lightweight Dan Hooker will face off against Paul Felder in the main event. Hooker has won six of his seven last bouts and solidified his credentials when he defeated Al Iaquinta in his last bout.

The always-entertaining Walker took to Twitter on Thanksgiving Eve and called for an opportunity to face “The All-American” in early 2020. In the Tweet, Walker referenced Weidman’s appearance on Monday’s edition of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show when he said he would like to return to action in February or March of the new year.
