Cejudo deemed himself “Triple C” after he beat Marlon Moraes for the bantamweight title back in June. He was the flyweight, bantamweight champion, and Olympic gold medalist. But, he is looking to add featherweight champion to that list.

Jared Cannonier and Darren Till will not happen at UFC 248 after all. Cannonier was originally expected to fight Robert Whittaker on the card but the former champ had to pull out. Since then, Till and Cannonier were linked to a fight. However, Dana White said the Englishman was hurt, while Till insisted any issues surrounded money. On Wednesday, Till took to social media to ask Donald Trump for his help in getting him a visa for the card.

Kamaru Usman may not be fighting Jorge Masvidal next after all. Following Usman and Masvidal’s confrontation at radio row during the Super Bowl, UFC president Dana White announced they would be fighting at International Fight Week. But, the welterweight champion says nothing is done on his end.

MMA coach Ray Longo questions the judges’ decision to award Jon Jones a victory over Dominick Reyes. Jones and Reyes collided in the main event of UFC 247 on Feb. 8. Jones’ UFC light heavyweight championship was on the line. By the end of the fifth and final round, many had Reyes winning the fight 48-47. That’s not how the judges scored the fight, however, and Jones took the unanimous decision victory.

After a lengthy hiatus due to a suspension from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is set to return to the cage against fellow grappling specialist Alexey Oleynik. The pair will collide at UFC 250 on May 9 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. News of this bout was first reported by Evelyn Rodrigues and Raphael Marinho of the Brazilian publication Combate.

These new gloves had their official debut on a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The UFC released 13 fighters earlier this week including fav favorite Ben Saunders and former Ultimate Fighter winner Brad Katona, and then later cut Juan Adams, bringing the total to 14 fighters cut. Now four more have been released, including Albini.

Khabib Nurmagomedov will only fight Conor McGregor in the street according to his manager Ali Abdelaziz. Nurmagomedov and McGregor fought at UFC 229 where it was Nurmagomedov who won by fourth-round submission. A post-fight melee than took place leading to the Dagestani champion and the Irishman both being suspended. In the lead-up to the fight, McGregor had ‘crossed the line’ in his trash talk, which is why the Nurmagomedov camp is not interested in granting Conor a rematch.

The former light heavyweight champion and training partner of Jon Jones tuned into Saturday night’s action at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. In the main event, Jones successfully defended his 205-pound title for the 14th time against Reyes.
